Came here at 2pm on a Monday and the place was full of people! Although most seemed to be regulars, they were friendly and not territorial at all. A charismatic fella named Rodeo was behind the bar who we really enjoyed. He noticed my friends "Lost Dog" fliers on our table and marched them over to the owner - without us having to even ask if they'd be willing to post them somewhere. We were then approached by the owner, Sue, who was more than empathetic and helpful. They posted the signs immediately and we enjoyed a delicious lunch in a cozy environment. Luckily the missing dog was found yesterday 11/4 safe & sound at a nearby quarry! We loved O'Sullivans and the people inside! Can't wait to go back!

I have a love of trying new small mom and pop style restaurants. O'Sullivan's was today Lunch Date choice with my mommio. I highly recommend O'Sullivan's especially on a Friday lunch. The atmosphere is quiet and spacious without the feel of hustle and bustle. Although I was incredibly tempted by their larger selection of Friday Fish Fry, I decided to go with the Reuben. It is an Irish establishment, so it felt just right. Not only was the sandwich great, but it's sheer size was impressive. Also, do not pass a chance to have a bowl of The Chicken Enchalada Soup (trust me, a cup will not be big enough. It was that good.)

Atmosphere: very basic in the dining room. Similar to a supper club for older folks. Lots of space. The bar appeared to be pretty nice -giving off an Irish bar appeal.

Tonight's St Patrick's meal was really bad...we ordered 2 shepherd's pies. There was ample meat, but it was dry and unseasoned. There were very few veggies (I believe they were frozen carrots and peas) and a super thin layer of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are a pretty critical part of any shepherd's pie...but sadly this thin layer had a solid coating of paprika which ruined them. Once scraping the paprika off, the dish was edible but disappointing. There wasn't one nice satisfying big bite of mashed potatoes that most people who like that dish envision when ordering it.

We are confused as to why this restaurant has a 4.6 review score. Perhaps they do a better job when it isn't a holiday? But it was a total waste of money for us...thus the low...

Boyfriend and I came here for the first time today. We are new to the Tosa/Brookfield area and wondered what this place was all about. This place feels like a second home when you walk in...it has that classic Wisconsin bar comfort: neighbors having conversations at the bar, Packer memorabilia on the walls, sports games on TV. When you go to the right, you enter the restaurant area, which again has a nice second-home feeling. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a steak and mushroom sandwich that was the special of the day. OMG, both were amazing! Haven't had a good Reuben in a while and this place definitely satisfied the craving. Looking forward to coming back...
