Sloppy food sloppy store sloppy staff specially for Mr JON who has no clue of what is he talking about. He tries to be fake friendly but you can always sense it in the way he likes to talk... the one star stands for the avaibality of my new WaWa favorite pastry chocolate croissant (it's really good)... this wawa is busy because of the traffic on edgmont ave going and coming from work for most of us... the sales number gives you a reading to how the area is evolving, not the service you are providing. I never thought I will say this about wawa because we grew up with wawa....i never had a bad experience with wawa ever ... but this is not a wawa store Def not... a manager calls a 38 year old customer Bro?... I order a roast beef sandwich with spinach and mixed roasted veggies every wawa I go and it's done the same way everywhere and that way is perfection... it's always made right wrapped right not sloppy not messy. I ordered the same exact thing out of a safety because I ordered something previously here and didn't like it so I decided to go with my usual... I got leaking wrap spits of mixed veggies in one half and not on the other ... I do not know what was the sauce because I only get the creamy horseradish sauce nothing else... my spinach was wrapped outside my wax paper? It made no sense at all that s why I went back... I asked for a manager and there comes Mr Loud JON I asked to speak to him on the side somewhere and he insisted on standing right by the ordering area and talking... I showed him my sandwich and his response was oh that s messy... He stood there with his loud voice trying to blame it on wawa way of wrapping? But I guess wawa hired him to fix that problem lol...anyhow I learned to stop by here and get the pre made stuff coffee pastry gas that's that... anything else I'm sure they will find a way of disappointment...
Read moreI never thought I would say this but both the sandwich quality and sandwich selection really plummeted at the Brookhaven Wawa. Their meatball hoagies were once incredible but are now horrible. The new marinara sauce that they use on their meatball sandwich tastes like a barbeque sauce and is terrible. Barbeque sauce and meatballs do not go together. The new meatballs they now use also taste terrible. What I once considered a phenomenal sandwich is now such an utter disappointment that I did not even want to finish it and would never buy another. Also, they no longer offer either tuna or chicken salad hoagies. You cannot go to at least this Wawa now and get a tuna sandwich. Seriously, are you kidding??? You also wait so much longer for your food to be prepared and I repeatedly hear those behind the counter complain amongst themselves if someone places a larger order. And to top if off, Wawa does their best to price gouge you! A classic hoagie is now $8 and even the price of their soft pretzels is significantly higher than they were not even a year ago and they now sell stale pretzels. It used to be their pretzels were always fresh and would stay moderately fresh for days in their plastic wrapping. That is no longer the case as they now apparently keep their pretzels on the shelves until they sell. Apparently company profits are much more important than customer satisfaction. Gotahava Wawa??? No, I am not feeling it anymore. The whole organization is...
Read moreAssociates talking while I am waiting at an open cash register. Associates eventually walk up after seeing me standing there and seeing my items on the counter and one says are you ready. I said yes. She says I'm not at this register. I'm at the one over there. (On the other side of the counter) She placed a closed register sign at the one I placed all of my items down at and walks to the outside. Nonchalant. No care in the world. No big deal attitude.
I would've definitely taken a moment as a manger to re-train her on good customer service techniques.
If you are a cashier...keep your eyes on the register instead of having an unrelated conversation or any relevant conversation that help your customers, but yet actually inconveniencing your customers. As soon as I saw a customer I would've stopped the conversation and immediately went to the register to assist.. My choice of wording to the customer would've been...My apologies sir for the wait. This register is actually closed. Let me put a sign here and again I'm sorry for that. Here, let my get your items and if you could meet me over at the other register I'd greatly appreciate that. At the end...again sir, my apologies for the wait and hope you have a good night. Not the passive aggressive who cares about the customer, but kill em with kindness in tone but not...
