What a fantastic place! It has a cozy vibe. We shared a booth near the bar that had a sense of privacy to it. It was busy on a Saturday at 5pm, and was fully packed as we left. A motorcycle gathering had closed the street outside, so we felt very lucky to get a seat when we did. The tap list here is impressive. I was thrilled that they had so many ciders to choose from, including several from one of my favorite cideries, 2 Towns. My husband was happy to have one of his favorite imports, Kilkenny, which is hard to find in the US, and followed it up with a local beer from Fernson, Ears Up. We started off with a South Dakota specialty, Chislic. I asked our server if it was more authentic grilled or fried, and she said grilled. They were really good! My husband had the Bourbon Bacon Burger with garlic fries. He really enjoyed it. I snagged a fry and it was tasty, with bold garlic. I had the pork tacos. These were not small street tacos, but very filling full-size tacos. A bit messy, but our server left us plenty of napkins. When she came by to ask if we needed anything more, we asked for the check. She said it’d be right out, and asked if we’d like free mini cupcakes as a thank you. She commented they’d been short staffed. I must say, everyone in there was working hard (the boss came by to check with us several times) and we have no complaints, only compliments. We then shared two mini cupcakes, one vanilla and one red velvet. It was a sweet ending to a really great meal.

I know my plates are empty in this photo but that’s how good their food is here! I almost never have left overs when we leave! I know it’s not in the menu (yet) but ask them about their grilled chicken sandwich it’s literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had! I hope they bring back their herb mayo, it was phenomenal!! In the meantime ask for a side of ranch, it’s still really good! Don’t forget the poutine and a cocktail or beer on tap! This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! Everyone gets a mini cupcake so save a bit of room!

Very bare bar and furniture. There were not too many people in the bar when we were there around 1930. Good beer selection but more ales than lagers. The lagers are the usual us light fare. Food selection quite limited. Nothing for vegetarians and vegans. There is a black bean burger but this fried on same stove as the meat burgers. Similar for other products that could be really attract vegetarians. Something to work on by the owner and invest in the kitchen to arrange for a second grill

Super small appetizer sized portions, side salad is some lettuce thrown on a plate, hamburgers taste fine, BUT are not much bigger than a slider AND at a regular sized menu price. We also had to keep asking for condiments as they are in tiny cups. Apps were a mess, and had raw garlic on fries, Service wasn't great in general...also had a reservation, but stood in the front for 15 minutes before anyone came to speak with us, as well as others standing there waiting. Most tables have hard stools with no back support at all. This place could be soooooo much better at every level. Wouldn't go back, just dropping the ball in too many areas, and certainly overpriced for what you get.

LAZY LAZY LAZY all around. Service, customer service, meal prep time, portions were all over the place, undercooked appetizers. This place is a waste of money.

*FYI, all owner follow ups I see here in bad reviews are just passive aggressive responses...When I say the burgers were small at a high price...they were NOT the weight the manager replied to my review/response makes out. They were literally the size of sliders that did not...

Normally I don’t write reviews but last night we had stopped in for a birthday. you could clearly tell it was busy but as soon as we sat down it started to slow down on customers walking in the building. we had sat for 1 and 30 minutes max and 1 hour and 15 of that time was waiting for food. our server with brown hair and a strip of blue on the back pieces stopped at our table about 3 times to ask for drinks but gave no updates about when the food was coming. not sure if she was new working there but u can tell her serving experience was not great. Another lady shorter with blonde hair came over to apologize but it wasn’t an apology when i told her the time we waited and she rudely corrected me on the time in her apology. Was not a sincere apology at all and made everyone at the table upset. we got our food 10 minutes later and fries were rock solid and burgers were good but luke warm. the lady with the blonde hair needs to work on apology’s when it comes to restaurants responsibly and the server with brown and blue hair needs to be retrained on being attentive...
