I took my four daughters to the Art Museum today for the Felt Horse workshop for the community art day. I didn't get the lady's name who was running it at helping everyone, but she was amazing and so kind and sweet with my kids. My 5 year old said as I was putting her to bed tonight that she hopes she sees her again because she was just so nice! Again, I didn't get her name but she said she works for the BAC and she has brown and blonde hair. I just want to share that because I truly believe she deserves the credit and then some. Not everyone is good at the job they do, and even more so not good with kids either, but this lady was amazing and made out time there wonderful. We won't miss another community art day again! Read moreMe and my friends had such a fun time doing pottery classes with Jenny Cook! She even adjusted the one of the dates to make it work for us...very accommodating. We all learned so much and we will definitely be taking more classes! We haven't gotten our finished art back just yet but hopefully soon!!!
Did another class of weaving...it was ok, I wouldn't say I learned a ton, but I did enjoy being able to use the different supplies and spend time creating...
