WARNING!!!! Do NOT eat here!! I didn't even want to give this place 1 star. While visiting my mother in Delaware my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to Hibachi Express. I've ordered from there NUMEROUS times and rarely have a bad experience with them... until yesterday. When I ordered the A8, Filet and Rice with extra white sauce, they must have mistaken extra white sauce for extra dirty fingernails, because that is what I got in my meal. It's a shame I didn't notice it until AFTER it was already in my mouth. Absolutely disgusting! To top it off, when I called to tell them to ask for my money back, the very rude girl at the register told me everyone there wears gloves and they would not be refunding my money. So, I drove there to show them the fingernail. When I walked in, I noticed NOBODY had gloves on, and it would have been damn near impossible to because they all could have poked my eyes out from behind the counter, that's how long all their nails are, even the men who cook the food. I literally had to threaten them with standing outside the door with the dirty fingernail telling everyone what happened to get my money back. So disgusted with the meal, the customer service, everything. I will NEVER eat here again and after I posted the picture on facebook, none of my friends and family will either. They should shut...

After it took an hour and a half for delivery, my sushi arrived, warm to the touch, when I opened the containers, and tried a piece, it was bad fish. I smelled the second roll, which stunk so badly. I called hibatchi, and they argued with me,âI could hear the owner in the back ground saying âpeople are so quick to call grub hub, but when there is a problem they are so quick to call usâ the woman repeatedly told me she didnât care and it wasnât her problem. After a phone argument, they agreed that if I drove to them, then I would get a refund, which I did. This place is in a very run down place in Newark, and doesnât look clean at all, I now understand why they are selling bad fish. The owner argued with me for about 7 minutes, that the sushi was fine, which clearly it wasnât. He could smell it was bad. They have no refunds or exchanges written on their menu, clearly this is an issue that occurs often. The owner is a pro at defending serving bad fish. He just wanted to brag about the dollar amount of sushi sales per day, which wasnât impressive. So disgusting, and unprofessional. This establishment is getting people sick, and will tell you very matter of factly, they donât care....

Took an hour to get here & while my order was correct, everything looked a bit sloppy. I ate it anyway since I was hungry. Big mistake! I was up all night sick. Everything I ate came back up. Tried to get a refund for the food through GrubHub, they tell me Hibachi Express refused. Called Hibachi myself a few times trying to speak to a manager or the owner - there's no one in charge there.
