I've been ordering from this store for YEARS. I even got my company to switch pizza shops for events to their store, increasing their business by nearly 200 pies a year! Today is the first time I've had a bad experience with them. It's not the bad experience that is initiating this review but the results of me reporting my experience. We ordered 3 pies for a work luncheon. The cheese pie was a complete mess. The grilled chicken and veggie pies had undercooked crusts and were soggy. All three pies were NOT SLICED! All employees ate what was delivered (using our knives to slice it up) but I felt the need to offer my feedback to management. It took the manager five minutes to get to my call. When he did, he said "Will you give me back the pizzas so I can credit you?" I explained for the second time at that point that we just ate but I was calling to offer feedback. He then went and yelled at the cook, who in turn yelled back, about the unsliced pizzas. He comes back to my call and says "Well he says he sliced them." At that point I just told him that he lost my company's business and ended the call. A great manager would have figured out a way of keeping my organization happy. A good manager would have just thanked me for my feedback. But when a manager attempts to inconvenience their customer or WORSE tries to prove that the customer is a liar then it makes me question how they run their...
Read moreI am from Philadelphia so I know a good cheese steak. The online menu through GrubHub says they use Cheese Whiz. So I called them before ordering. The guy on the phone was nice and said he only uses good quality products. I asked if they used the Kraft Brand Cheese Whiz. he said "Yes Yes only the best". So I place an order. The sandwich had that cheddar cheese sauce you put on pretzels or fries at the movies. It was NOT cheese whiz. I also ordered a veal parm sandwich. The veal tasted frozen and not fresh. The bread for both sandwiches was pretty good though. Not Philly good but really not bad.
In all honesty, I was not impressed with either sandwiches and I also did not appreciate being lied to about using cheese whiz. You Delaware people and your cheese sauce on your steaks instead of whiz. This was my first time trying them and I am not interested in doing it again. But I do wish them well for those people that apparently comment and say they have the best sandwiches in Delaware. Those customers have never been to Philly and have had real food. To be brutally honest, if a place like this opening up in Philly, Delco, or South Jersey area (Cherry Hill area) and made sandwiches like this, they would be out of business. It doesn't matter what the price is. If your sandwiches aren't that great, you would be out of business. But in Delaware, doesn't seem like people...
Read moreVery clean and very friendly. The owner is a really nice guy, he checked up on my son and I and you can tell that he loves what he does very passionate about his food. The cheesesteaks are really good will not disappoint. The sandwich is filled just right so you can eat it and not wear it. The chicken parm sandwich my son tore it up and said it was one of the best ones he has had. French fries are the way they are supposed to be not seasoned or curly just plain great fries. Buffalo wings damn good size not from a baby chicken full grown bird, got the mild sauce and it had a good flavor. Now the pizza! Great crust, thin on the deck and holds really well no saggy slice. True mozzarella not mixed with Provalone you will be able to tell when you taste it, the sauce on the pizza is perfect not sweet or to thick just right. Planning on going back to try more food. Very good menu to choose from and I can imagine it won't disappoint either. This family that runs this place I believe cares about quality to customers, good people, good food what else can you ask for? Next time I'll actually take pics of the food lost track after I bit into the...
