First, let me start off saying this is the first time I've seen the daily double bundle because I don't eat McDonald's a whole lot, so I'm not as familiar to the menu. Well, I decided to get some Mickey Ds today and seen the daily double. The employee asked what would I like. I said the daily double bundle. I then asked if I could get large fry instead of a small one, and he replied that he could only do a small for the bundle. So then he asked me was that the bacon daily double bundle or just the regular. I said sure add some bacon. The price jumped so high that I asked him to take the bacon off. After that I continue lookin to see if it's anything else I may won't and this rude person keeps askin me is there anything else after I've asked them to hold on please give me a sec. They again asked if thats all for my order. At this point, i felt rushed and just said yes im done. Get to the first window and gave them my card to pay. She gave it back and said thank u as she closes the window on me while im wondering why she hasn't given me a receipt. I get to the second window, thinking they maybe have my receipt and still no receipt. I asked well do i get a receipt? I'm upset now because I feel like I was not treated with the Mickey Ds customer service that I thought I would get. She printed me a receipt and I left. Seeing that I had to get back to work I had no time to check my order so when I opened my bag to eat it was a double cheeseburger instead of the daily double that has lettuce and tomatoes on it. This is so unexceptable the way the customer service was. I know they try to move fast, but it wasn't even crowded enough to have to rush orders. Very...
Read moreI have a hard of hearing. So I opted the digital ordering so I can have the food delivered to my table. A customer had to tell me my food was ready and sitting at the to-go counter for “a long time”. Apparently they called my number. When I went up and asked the “manager” Naomi, she responded but I couldn’t hear her. And she walked off. Then when I went up to the register, she came up again and I asked her if the food on the Togo shelf is mine. My order number was different from the large numbers on the ticket. She said yes and walked away- but I managed to ask for a tray. I’m traveling alone with my 4 year old. She rolled her eyes- for no reason. Slapped the tray on the counter- rolled her eyes again and walked off. I yelled for the manager because of her random attitude. And she said proudly that she was. Then another girl started yelling at me- which yes I lost my cool. I wanted to know why we enter our numbers in and it says on the thing that we bring to the table that they bring the food to us. And instead of explaining calmly- the blonde girl putting the food in the bags was rude. The other workers there were amazing and kind! Which I wished I would have been able to talk to someone nicer and calmer...
Read moreWhile conveniently located off the highway with reasonably nice facilities, this McDs was horribly disorganized. We waited for our simple kids meal order for 20 minutes before the person at the front simply went back to put it together themselves, and they still did not get it right missing the apple slices. We deemed it too painful to attempt to correct the mistake. It seemed to have started with a foul-up in their processing system as we placed the order electronically at the Kiosk. This issue of disorganization seems to be endemic among McDonald's just about everywhere in the US. It appears to be a combination of changeover to a new hybrid ordering system of self-serve, web ordering, drive-through and counter service, an emphasis on drive-through over dine-in and the fact that their personnel turnover is likely debilitating. I am not sure if we're finally seeing the demise of this venerable fast food chain, but I can't imagine their service issues will be shored up until they fully automate. Then the experience might be too cold for even the most ardent...
