This is a hidden town 💎 gem.!! Looks like just another little town bar. BUT, it's a nice size restaurant too. Old School Bar, Clean, Friendly, open space. Plenty of TV's for games & a Regulation pool table. They offer really good pizzas, Subs of all kinds, Cheese Steak Sub looked amazing, deep fried mushrooms.🏆 I had the BEST 8oz. Cheese Hamburger I have had in a long time. Came piled with shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and dressing 😋 with huge hand cut onion rings too.. So BIG it came with a knife and you need one!! Serve Steak & Ribs too.. I was REALLY Surprised they had such good food here.. You will be too. they have a Sm. BUT Tasty menu. The owner and her family have been here in Brookville a long time & try hard to make your visit a good one... Stop here during the weekdays no wait food served until 9pm & you will find lots of flavor here most places don't have anymore..🍔🍕🍻🍗🎉🥃

First our waiter/ bartender was busting tail. He was super friendly and never made us feel like he was too busy to help us. The atmosphere felt like a dive bar. They allowed children in. I don't know if there is a cut off time for them or not. Our food was ok. I had a breaded tenderloin which was massive. If you like huge thin tenderloins this one's for you. I personally prefer a thicker meatier tenderloin. We tried mozzarella sticks, loaded waffle fries, and a cheese burger as well. Everything was similar to typical bar food you can get at most bars. If we lived in the area I suspect we'd eat there again. The highlight really was the service!

We had a couple of drinks with onion rings and a 12 inch cheese pizza. Bartender was excellent, I thought the onion rings were greasy but my hubby loved them. Pizza was good tasting. It’s a cool light type home town bar, my favorite kind. I will be back.

After reading previous reviews, I was really looking forward to having dinner at this old tavern. We arrived just minutes before it opened at 3pm on a Saturday. This put the waitresses in a panic to the point one came out to our car and told us, " we don't open until 3!" I told her we knew and that we were still waiting for some others to meet us. When we went inside, the first impression was that it was much bigger than expected. The old building had some character. However, the floors were wonky, so if you have had a few drinks, you better not walk to the restroom! That was a site, too. The western style doors on each of the 2 stalls didn't allow for any privacy in what was already a very small, and I do mean SMALL, room. We had found a table for 6 and seated ourselves, then waited 15 minutes for a waitress. At this point, 2 other couples came in. The waitress grumbled that the doors were unlocked prior to 3:00, and they shouldn't have been! She quickly took our drink order (water, coke, and tea) and brought them out another 15-20 mInutes later. She took our dinner orders and quickly rushed off. There were 6 of us. The food arrived nearly 25-30 minutes later, which was fine, but she was still grumbling about things and not the least bit pleasant! There was only our table and 1 other. Another couple was having a beer at the bar. Well, the food was less than desirable. However, 3 ordered the burger and said it was very good. So that's about it. Don't expect too much if you go. We went for the "atmosphere" and to experience a new place to eat out. It was just that, and we have no plans...
