Wendy's — Restaurant in Brookville

I suggest you pass on this store unless you like spending your money at a store with disrespectful employees. Very poor customer service by the evening crew. I ordered a double with no cheese, only ketchup at the drive thru window. Note, the lady through the speaker repeated my order back to me. I had a feeling, so I checked my sandwich and lo and behold it was a single with cheese. I took the sandwich in, explained to another young lady at the counter this is not what I ordered and immediately she starts arguing back with me telling me that is what I ordered. Bold of her considering she was not the individual who took my order at the speaker. After a few moments of reiterating this was not the plain double with ketchup that I ordered, they went back to remake my sandwich. They give me a new sandwich, that was again, incorrect. A single with ketchup. At this point I was ready to just ask for my money back. The employees assumed I had left the store and as I was still standing at the counter, I overheard them loudly complaining about the inconvenience that THEY caused, saying negative things about me. For a second time, I got their attention, asking that they remake my sandwich. The way they handled such a simple mistake was the most unprofessional event I’ve seen in customer service in quite some time. Don’t waste your money at this location. This Wendy's is ridiculous. Always have to repeat the order at least 3 times before they ring it in correctly and then it's still wrong about 98% of the time. I'm not talking about complicated custom orders with things added and removed.....most of the time it's 2 drinks. Nothing more, nothing fancy just 2 drinks and they can't get it right. A LG diet Dr pepper and a LG cherry coke is not difficult. Yesterday again I ordered 2 meals with these drinks and an additional LG diet Dr pepper. Not complicated. Again I get to the window and am told they only rang in the two drinks with the meals. I said there should be three drinks in total, 2 lg diet Dr pepper, 1 med cherry coke. The MANAGER says fine, hold on and starts to get the other LG drink. I asked her specifically if the medium she just gave me was a cherry coke, she said yes I already gave you the cherry coke. I said ok, got the third drink, drove away. Got down the road, took a drink of the "cherry Coke"..... nope!! It's also a diet Dr pepper!!! Warm old fries, and 3 diet Dr pepper! All that after waiting 20 minutes to get to the speaker to order. Can someone please open another restaurant in town that serves a diet drink that's not coke or Pepsi??? The only reason I still go there is because they have diet...

Sooo disappointed! Always been a Wendy's customer. However, when we moved to New Lebanon a few years ago, and tried the local Brookville store, we were disappointed. Poor service, sub standard food and dirty restaurant. Stopped going. So, we were hopeful when we saw the location closed for remodel. Just re-opened. Decided to give it a try last night. Drive thru only. Several cars. Ten minutes, no movement. Then...movement...just a car pulling out of line. Repeated in 5 more minutes. Now one car (same car) at window. Gap in line. One car ahead of us still sitting at order station. 20 minutes- she pulls up to window. We order 2 frosties. Simple and fast, right? NOPE! 5 more mins. Pay the kid. See 5 employees walking around inside store. One guy kept getting himself a drink at window machine. The guy at window has disappeared. See 2 more people come look at screen and get stuff. He finally comes back putting food in a bag. Has a sundae in one hand. Opens window and shoves it to us. My husband is soo angry he pulls away! I open the bag to 3 chicken nuggets, some chicken sandwich and some dish of what I think were fries with jalapenos and some strong vinegary sauce. And a melted sundae......
