I so wanted to like Arista Deli and Coffee but that just didn't happen. Food was good but service was frustrating and well, they just didn't seem to care one way or another. This was a recommendation and two friends and I visited to start our day. They were quick and almost seemingly proud of the things that they were out of, this included napkins, the solution was to just tear off some paper towel from a bathroom roll. Should have been a sign but benefit of the doubt and all. After we ordered and looked for a seat I went back to the counter and get additional bathroom towels torn from the roll so I could clean the table off. We sat and waited, nothing was available at the same time so we didn't enjoy our morning meal together but one by one, at least two of us did, our third didn't get his because they forgot about it. After watching multiple orders come out he went to the counter and mentioned he had no meal yet. There was no apology and it must have been his fault for ordering and paying that they forgot about that meal. Two out of three ain't bad I guess. I did order coffee but that too was addressed in a rude manner by a lady working the coffee machine. I would not have ordered coffee if I was more familiar as there was something happening in the ceiling directly above the coffee machine, tiles were out and a man on a ladder was doing something up there, no precautions were being taken to cover the area below the work so I really don't know what bonus materials may have been in my beverage, After seeing the situation I didn't drink the coffee. Finally the third meal is available but we really do need to get going so my friend choked most of it down and tossed the rest. We didn't want to make a career of getting breakfast that morning. The food was tasty and enjoyable, at least two out of three. You know, the orders that weren't forgotten. Never did anyone come out from behind the counter to ask about the experience, they were not that busy and there were times there were no customers at the counter. Overall the staff were short and rude, table was dirty enough I cleaned it myself, one of three orders were missed and coffee contents were in question. No manager engagement just topped it all off. In trying to find the positive in the situation what food we had was tasty and we did find parking.

This is the best ice cream you will ever have in your life! I’ve tried all of the local Denver favorites- little man, sweet cow, Lik’s, Bonnie Brae. I’ve tried the classics- cold stone, baskin robins, and Ben and Jerry’s. NOTHING can compare to the genius that comes out of the owner, Matt’s, head. Classic flavors like cookie dough, cookies and cream, and strawberry are elevated to an entirely new level. They are ridiculously creamy, exploding with flavor, and some how an entirely new experience while remaining completely relatable. Not to mention the completely original flavors he creates like taro tea, orange IPA, buttered blueberry pancake, and so many more. They are constantly being made fresh so there is always something new to try. Be careful because once you try this ice cream you will be hooked for life. Come for date night, bring your family, bring your friends and be amazed by truly genius ice cream! Support local business!

their açaí bowls are okay. i came here a few times and every time was met by extremely rude staff. the service here sucks, and they have rodents! my last visit there i saw a mice just running around, i quickly let the staff know and to my surprise they didn’t even apologize or try to make it right. they literally shrugged and said it’s rodent season. i felt very disgusted after having seen that and how many times before i’d continued to buy their food. staff is rude and they have rodents. i tried to capture the picture of the rodent but it ran away. you can kind of see in this picture.

The prices on the menu do not match the prices you are charged. You will be overcharged. When I asked the employee why every line item was incorrect before I paid, he claimed it was "tax". I paid and tried to sort it out later with the owner. That was a mistake. The owner doubled down, first claiming it was a credit card surcharge, and then when he realized he was surcharging illegally claimed it was a "cash discount", as if charging more than the menu price and then "discounting" it to the actual menu price is actually a discount? Consumer protection laws in Colorado protect against just that, and he can't seem to understand. He kept offering to refund me 36 cents, which is just a small fraction of what I was overcharged due to some fabricated issue, I guess to make it seem like he was being reasonable. He never addressed the employee's mistake of calling it "tax" which was then taxed again. I guess he hasn't come up with a good explanation for that. Regardless, be warned that this place charges more than the menu price without disclosing it anywhere, and owner lives in his own world and doesn't abide by Colorado laws. The food itself was good, but my experience with the incompetent cashier, ignorant owner, and my difficulty getting a refund ruined my experience. You'd think someone using Einstein references in his business name would be a rational business owner, but you'd be wrong. He'd rather be fined by his payment processor than to admit he made a mistake. When choosing to eat here, ask yourself if you mind being overcharged and exploited? If not, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are better delis only a few...

My husband and I came here with a friend for ice cream, as it is one of our favorite ice cream places. We love to bring our friends here to introduce them to it because their ice cream is soooo good! They have the best chocolate chip cookie dough and raspberry ghost pepper ice cream ever!

However it is very sad that Erica; the beautiful young lady behind the counter was having to working frantically trying to take care of 12 customers all by herself! She was taking orders, making sandwiches, specialty coffees, and scooping ice cream while manning the register all at the same time! My heart broke for her and was frustrated for the other customers that were on their lunch break and having to wait unnecessarily. It truly is not fair to her or to the customers either!!

This really is a fabulous place to eat. The food is amazing but if the management does not start staffing better, they may lose customers!

Update - 1/1/25 I am happy to say that today when my husband and I came back with my grandson to get ice cream, we saw that the management had employed more staff. Our service was much faster and everything was wonderful, I commend the management for taking my review into consideration and taking action upon it. We will definitely be back!!! And I encourage others to come, try it ! ...
