Panda Express — Restaurant in Broomfield

This is my first bad review, ever.

The good: the orange chicken was quite tasty

The bad: I got to the window and orders 2 plates. One with orange chicken and honey sesame chicken, the other with orange chicken and Beijing beef. I got to the window and they hand me 1 bowl and 1 plate, so I let them know that I wanted 2 plates, and I may have missed it on the drive through screen, no big deal. They take my card AGAIN and charge me the extra $1.50, again no big deal. The issue is that they asked me to pull into the parking lot to wait while the honey chicken was cooking and FORGOT ABOUT ME (despite the drivethru not being very busy). It took over 10 mins before I got hangry enough that I went in. Inside there was one person ahead of me in line, and sitting right there is some honey chicken that looks fresh, but not brand new. So apparently they had they had it all ready, but forgot to run it out. But even if it was pretty fresh, I’ve never had to wait more than 2-5 mins for panda to make anything fresh. As the saga continues they give me a little tiny thing of chicken and send me on my way. But wait, that’s not all. The wait is way too long for American Chinese food, there was 1 couple in front of us for a dine in and then they were told to wait for 30 minutes. ALL BECAUSE OF ONLINE ORDER BACKUPS, not only that there was a line a LINE of cars backed up and people asking for their food when it’s gonna be ready in dine in, and people that were waiting for their food from car orders in parking lot were coming in and also complaining . The people working there looked so confused, on what was on the orders how the orders were coming in. There needs to be more people working here. And TWO different lines on people working 1 ONLINE ORDERS 2 DINE IN AND DRIVE THRU. Absolutely upset and pissed off this is not the first time this has happened to me or others as I was talking to multiple people in line about this situation. Do you have pleasant memories of large portions, juicy chicken, and all around great food from Panda Express? Then keep those memories and stay away from this restaurant, for that reality no longer exists. The chain (or at least this location) has engaged in such cost cutting measures that the portions and quality of food are lacking considerably. Large nuggets of orange chicken? Nope, tiny morsels. Tender crispy Beijing beef? Nope, where’s the beef? Dried out chow mein? You betcha! We’ve been here three times since they opened, trying to give them a chance, but won’t go back.
