I stopped in for a chocolate-chip cookie dough spoon-bender, and there is NOTHING spoon-bending about this. I took the lid off, took a bite and immediately went back through the drive-thru which is a hassle in and of itself, but more so when I need to get back to work. I said, this was supposed to be a chocolate-chip -cookie-dough spoon-bender, would you mind adding some cookie-dough? The gal said, yeah, it is a cookie-dough-bender.. I stirred it in front of her and showed her the only 5 tiny, âtinyâ pieces of cookie-dough and asked really? She said, yes, look toward the bottom. I said, well, I just stirred it up from the bottom and what you saw is all there is. She just looked behind her, I suppose for some kind of support from another employee, shrugged her shoulders and started to close the window. I said I would NOT be back (as if she cares) and that they could do better. (She just grins and looks away) I wonât be back. Things are expensive more so than ever, and I expect quality items for my money. There are other Sonics, and they do a better job. Shame on you, who arenât training a more professional staff. They would get less flack, and more work satisfaction, Iâm sure if they knew even an inkling of customer service. This is just a whole lotta vanilla ice cream. It wouldnât have hurt to add some chocolate-chip cookie dough to make it look like what I ordered. I kinda hope when she orders sneakers from Anazon they come without the shoe...
Read more*These pics are EXACTLY how my shake looked when I got it * the ad is slightly different. Look I get that the hiring pool has dwindled recently for reasons economists are always talking about but I think that people need to stop scheduling groups of teenagers to work together because what I'm finding is that it is not "cool" to give good or even ANY customer service at work when you're a teenager ( example: back in high school when we would make fun of the preppy kids teachers, pet types-! you know the people who have 98% of the wealth in America today?) in fact it is cool to an "I don't care" attitude amongst your peers as a teenager and that kind of attitude results in shakes that look like this. I honestly did not know you could make a milkshake look unedible but somehow these axe body spray wearing, future titans of industry managed the impossible. Honestly it looks disgusting. The good news though is I was worried about the calories ordering a large but since the cup had so much slippery stuff all over it I managed to have it go flying out of my hands as I tried to maneuver this shake from one room to the next and half of it went flying across the room so guess what ?? half the calories!! YAY ME also burned a few mopping up the horrible mess . I put what was rest of the shake in my blender and actually shook it which I think is key. And it was tasty. But I can't even think about how...
Read moreEDIT: So we never got our refund from Sonic. I contacted corporate and they said Iâd need to have my receipt to prove there was a return (of course I threw it away.) I thought it was strange that the cashier didnât need our credit card when she was âprocessingâ the return. Iâm pretty sure she was just BSing us about giving us our money back. So I was never refunded the $9, and paid for a shake I gave back. I literally have never had more disgust for a franchise and will never return to another Sonic anywhere again.
Ordered 2 meals and a cookie dough blast shake. When I took the lid off of the âblastâ it was nothing but ice cream and less than 10 bits of cookie dough. When asked to add more cookie dough, they told me we would have to pay to add more and they were only allowed to put one scoop in each blast. I showed them a photo of what theyâre advertising these alleged âblastsâ as and how they look like on their website and still they wouldnât add anymore. I told them I wanted my money back and did not want this cup of ice cream. The entire cost of one of the meals was refunded, so that was nice but seriously, why does every. single. location. suck? After so many bad experiences at Sonic, weâve vowed to...
