If you are looking for your reason to stop here I have photo's! Breakfast was AMAZING. I was seated by a window with this magnificent view of the mountains behind the town. The local dogs raced around the streets. Alexandra was very polite, quick, and very kind. I myself have been a waitress so I always bus up my own table for people who take my order. I had a hot chocolate and that was delicious. For my meal I had the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast and yes that's a mouth full to say! Golden Fluffy and Gooey on the inside with cream cheese, cinnamon notes and apple pieces this was a sweet tooth's dream! I had a side order of the breakfast potatoes which has red and green bell peppers and diced onions. cooked to perfection I was very pleased with them. The chairs have socks on the bottom of them to prevent them from scratching the floor and I was a fan of it. Thought it was adorable. The paper towel holders are also very neat. I love the set up. I was told the building is about 5 months old. So it was very clean and hardly much on the walls but it was cozy and really made for a memorable stop.

We stopped in at the Whistle Stop Restaurant in East Glacier Park and were pleasantly surprised! It’s a cozy spot right off the main road, with a clean and updated interior and lots of indoor seating. There’s also a nice outdoor area if you want to enjoy the mountain air. The food was fresh and made to orderand we loved the build your own bowl option, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The service was friendly and welcoming. It did get a bit busy when we were there, especially in the line to order, but it moved at a steady pace. Parking can be a little tricky during peak times, so be prepared for that. Overall, a great stop for a delicious bite in East Glacier. Thanks for the great service!

Perfect place for our hungry family from Missouri to eat after a beautiful day of hiking and exploring in Glacier. The local craft beer, burgers, pulled pork, home fries, grilled corn, and homemade huckleberry pie were all incredible. We originally ordered one pie and ice cream to split and then had to ask for two more servings, because it was so delicious our teenage son didn’t want to share. Topping off our delectable entrees was the warm, friendly, and attentive service we received as soon as we walked through the door. Thank you, Whistle Stop!

Stopped here on our way back from Going-to-the-sun. Mistake! We should have left when we saw the prices but we had already ordered drinks. Hamburgers, $16 with a small bowl of what they call wedge fries but I'd call home fries. Not much selection either. We were a party of six, two adults, four teens. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was tasty, chicken parm sandwich which was also fine, steak sandwich which was good too. The other three ordered hamburgers. They were all burnt to varying degrees. One was inedible. The other two were eaten mostly just out of hunger. We didn't have time to wait for them to make more as we had a timeline we had to follow. When I walked over to the waiter to show him one he said, "I'm sorry." I said, " We don't have time to wait for more to be cooked but I wanted you to see it. All three are like that." He came to our table later and said, "Can I get you anything else?" my husband said, "No, but I want you to see the other burgers are the same." The waiter said, "Ya, I saw that. I guess because they are cooked on the grill." Uhm....what?! Then he asked if he could bring the bill. No discount, nothing taken off. Full price for everything. Not to mention the 18% gratuity that is included on your bill. No say in tipping depending on how good or bad service was. We are generally generous tippers. I won't ever stop at this highway robbery restaurant again. Also, google has this at one dollar sign when it should be two as there is not one food item on that menu under $10 except the soup! Our entire family of seven has eaten at a lovely Italian restaurant where the kids say was the best restaurant they'd ever been to for less than this terrible meal cost us. Reply to owners reply: Prices are typically higher in a resort town, fine, agreed. Google shows it as a lower price point so I wanted people to know it is no longer in that price point. When I told the server we did not have time to wait for more burgers that was when a decision needed to be made to find a way to make the situation right. The cook had to have known those were burnt when he put them on the bun but served them anyway. The server had no idea until i showed him. We expected to be offered a discount for the food being sub-par or at least remove the burger that wasn't eaten from the bill. If we had time and staff was willing to cook another burger then I don't see the difference but nothing was offered to try to right the situation. I hate MacDonald's but I know there's no way they'd ever try to serve a...

We each had a BLT; it was on the cheapest bread you can buy. The bread was lightly toasted and had an aioli sauce that I did not care for. The dish came with homestyle fries, that were over salted. No silverware available and the fries were fork fries. However, the huckleberry lemonade was delicious! We paid $40.00 for a very simple, cheap sandwich! We ate outside without any shade covering.

In response to the very RUDE owner: We only had 2 BLT's and 2 Huckleberry Lemonades, and our total was as posted from my bank below:

The bread was NOT TexasToast, it was thin white bread. I read that the sandwich had an aioli sauce; however, it did not taste good to me. The fries were not "healthy" they were fried and over salted. Customers should not have to fetch their own silverware. We sat outside with no shade, as we had our pups with us.

Instead of stating your customers are being basically picky, try apologizing for the experience, and try to rectify it for the next customers. I WILL be advising my co-workers about your...

Deep fried French toast, not what I was expecting. Plus at the top of the menu it says no substitutions, it's a pain. To me this is passive aggressive and not customer service oriented. As a person who can't eat deep-fried food very often and has a small appetite, there wasnt much on the menu for me. I love French toast but this was the worst I've had, even with cream cheese filling. My husband did enjoy his omelet however but underwhelming and staff were somewhat friendly. I did not mention my dislike due to the passive aggressive note on the menu which alnost made us leave immediately. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 yrs as a chef and critique, This is not one i would not give a 2nd chance simply because of the attitude of the owner. Cheers

Ps. The lack of professional courtesy and wanting repeat customers is quite evident in your replies to all your reviews. Rude and yes passive aggressive attitude does not fare well. It's a service industry. Nowhere on the menu does it say french toast is deep fried nor is French toast supposed to be deep fried. Might want to call it something else. We frequent the area but will...
