Probably some of the best chicken wings I have ever had. This place has it going on! Simple menu, but amazing flavors and portion sizes! The Fultzstix are 🔥! These are so addicting and flavorful! Could make a meal out of these!
As I stated originally, the wings are unbelievable! I have not been to a restaurant that serves wings this size. The flavor of the sauce was tremendous and was addicting as well. The wings are steamed and then baked, not fried! To have the crispy edges and yet not be fried is unheard of.
The pizza, while presentation was simple (looks like a typical pizza), was top notch! You can tell the cheese they use is the best quality and the dough was fluffy and airy.
The restaurant is clean and the staff was extremely friendly during my entire interaction. Upon looking over their menu, there are some amazing eats that many individuals might overlook! For instance; 5 wings is 1.5 lbs. that’s a lot weight for 5 wings @ $7.99. The pizza and stix were very large considering I ordered the smallest quantity available. Their Calzones are enouius (saw these being made in the kitchen).
Lastly, as I walked by the kitchen, I saw one of the largest pizzas I have ever seen in person; the Big Noony! This pizza is 30” wide! This thing is colossal!
One of the best features of this restaurant is the fact that they do little advertising, yet the phone rings off the hook for pickup and delivery orders. Also, they spend a lot of time and resources on giving back to the community. I’m conversations with the owner and staff, they offer significantly discounted pricing for the local schools around the area. This is some of the cheapest and best advertising you can do! Contributing to and being involved with your community and school is very important. I hope that Panoonys continues to have success and keeps their quality where it’s at! I will be...
Read moreWe decided to try Panoony's after local TV decided to do a review of the place. We were excited to try a pizza place we had not heard of hoping to find something noteworthy.
We ordered a pizza that was quoted to have been delivered between 45 minutes and a hour. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we still had not received our pizza and complained. The person I spoke to on the phone, was the owner and said, she would be upset to, she was sorry and they were busy. At 1 hour 25 minutes after ordering the pizza, it arrives, I open the box, feel the pizza and it feels like it has been sitting for a half hour. It is barely warmer than the room. I give the delivery woman a look and tell her the pizza is not hot. Puzzled she tells me she delivered it right after it was taken out oven. At first look, there is nothing special about this pizza, but to their defense, it was a pretty basic pizza. After telling her, we won't be ordering from Panoony's again - she argues with me and says everybody deserves a second chance.
To jump on my high horse - no, no they don't. This is business. You are fighting like hell against 7 other pizza places in town, who do pretty much the exact same thing, deliver the food hot and on time. As a first time customer, I am under no obligation to try you twice let alone once.
I called Panoony's back and had to leave a message.
The pizza...it's okay. After you heat it up it is not bad. The mushrooms on the pizza were fresh. The sauce was decent, a touch sweet, but it was good. The dough used was different. Grainier, maybe a little heavy, but it was different from local competition, which I applaud. This pizza was not outstanding or noteworthy as a whole. It's pizza.
I won't order from there again. I can get pizza faster, hotter and more to my...
Read moreWe went to Panoony's this evening, our first time dining there, or even having their food at all.
The good: the breadsticks! Fresh and hot with plenty of flavor. The pizza we ordered was also pretty good, but I wouldn't say it's knock-your-socks-off delicious. It was alright. Also, the staff were friendly and nice. They took our order the moment we walked in the door.
The bad: the wait time for our dine-in order was pretty bad. We had breadsticks after 20 minutes, but we didn't have pizza until 45 minutes. Maybe we caught them during a rush, but that was a long wait. Honestly I was thinking of just leaving at one point. One other note: a couple who came in after us (who also sat in the dining room) had two pizzas brought to their table before we received our one pizza. Another table had their pizza after us after a much shorter wait than we had. Finally, there is no wait staff. It's self-service (i.e. get your own) on the drinks, paper plates (ugh!) and napkins.
The ugly: the dining room. It's boring and lifeless. There is absolutely no atmosphere. No music, no great lighting, no TVs with sports, just a gaming console in the corner. It's incredibly boring. As such, I can't recommend the dining room.
My summary: I'd recommend Panoony's for carryout -- their food tastes great and it doesn't disappoint -- but I wouldn't meet friends here for dinner. That said, Panoony's has the menu and the quality; if they tricked out their dining room a bit, it could be a great local pizza joint for dining-in,...
