Amor y Pan — Restaurant in Brownsville

I was just strolling the shopping center and happened to notice the menu and that they serve gluten free food. Because I have a lot of food intolerances I was very happy there was a place that serves homemade almond and coconut flour breads, tortillas and desserts. I placed an order to go plus added in some snacks. When I came home and ate 1/2 of my sandwich I was very impressed. Being a foodie snob I am VERY picky about high quality, top notch food and Amor y Pan delivered in every way. The sandwich and coconut/almond flour doughnuts were delicious. So much so that I called them and told them how impressed I am with the food and asked her to thank whomever is in the kitchen cooking and baking these foods. Food is so good! I can’t say I’m someone that actively looks for healthier options but I saw their food menu and it looked delicious! (I’m someone that need pictures of food to decide what I want and they have pics of everything which is amazing) The woman that took our order, I believe her name is Gina, was beyond helpful and hospitable. Went in for certain product and they were out. Cashier just said product was frozen in the back but made no attempt to offer or explain other options. I glanced at the display case and it badely had anything in it. Cashier seemed anxious but friendly. Loiters and loungers taking up space chatting and not moving when real customers are there.
