Stars Drive-in — Restaurant in Brownsville

I happened to go after having some Millers with the boys and I'll tell you it hit the spot. The difference between all the fast food restaurants and this one is the sauce/condiment they use. At STARS they are a bit more conservative with their flavors which makes for a pleasant burger. It's not over the top with mayo like BK, or over the top on sauce like Whata, also has more condiments than a Mickey D's for sure (but what's new there.) I had the unfortune of going at a time on a Saturday where it was packed so overall I did have to wait a good 45 minutes from moment of arrival to chow-time which is always a dismal amount of time to wait especially when you're hungry and at place which I would consider a fast-food place, however the young man that served me was of a good mood and polite regardless of the fact that it was a visibly packed night and he was running left to right. The hamburger was exactly what I expected. A delicious, well-made burger with cheese and bacon. And the fries were above par. The fries that they have had a better taste than most fries have tasted at other restaurants. Whataburger being somewhere near the top, these french fries were definitely battling up there with the big corporations as far as french fry flavor. I have no idea how these hamburgers are made, nor could I really put my palate to the test since I had downed a comfortable amount of Millers, but i can say that the flavor of the meat reminded me of some very well made grill hamburgers and everything about it was fine. Overall did wait a long time, the hamburger was very well made with it's condiments and sauces, and the fries above...

I love going to Stars their burgers are the best, but unfortunately today i had a very bad experience with a lady that work their red hair and glasses , they messed my order and i asked if they can change it and a Guy was going to but then automatically the a lady who works there interrupted screamed at me saying that the order is not wrong that they gave it to us exactly how I order it and I explained myself no i did not order it like that and i wanted tator tots not fries, she spend about 10min trying to argue with me that its not their fault its ours for saying the wrong order and they wont be able to change it and I said why not i paid for the food and she then proceeded that I did not pay for cheese and I told her i will pay for it then, she finally decided to change my order but did not allow me to change my fries to tator tots even though i did not even touch them, the lady whole time screamed at me with a very rude actitud i never experience such bad customer...

11-7-22 stopped into Stars to pickup two salads to find they had no salad. On that topic. The salad is pretty good except. They only give one very small dressing. And when I went the time they had salad. I had to pay if I wanted one moore dressing. Also had no Italian dressing. Is this the normal? I have learned to bring your own dressing and call ahead to see if salad is available. We settled for Chicken sandwiches. If there were mayonnaise on the sandwich, I couldn't see or taste it. Very bland without condiments. This was on both sandwiches. What is wrong with...
