Los Mismos — Restaurant in Brownsville

We came here for lunch. The place was pretty much empty aside from one table in the corner. They bring out chips and salsa as an appetizer. The salsa was pretty delicious and flavorful, but not very spicy at all. Our plates came out pretty quickly and at the same time. I ordered Mexican Enchiladas and my wife ordered enchiladas suizas. We both really enjoyed our plates. The rice was cooked perfectly and the beans were as well. The sauce that was on top of my enchiladas was supposed to be a red pepper sauce but the pepper taste was mild. It almost tasted more like tomato sauce, but it was still delicious. If i could rate this 0 stars i would...unfortunately i cannot comment on the service or the food seeing as they didnt bother to provide it. My wife and i stopped in for lunch around 2pm sat down in the middle of the dining room and waited for about 10 minutes for a server to come with menus. In that time two other guests entered sat down and were given menus and drinks. After making eye contact with a server my wife decided to leave. We will not be returning to this establishment...

Los Mismos (The same ones) has always been a good clean place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is good and the service has been always great. Bistec ranchero plate, the flower tortillas mmmm. I am getting hungry as I am writing this. I really recommend this place and if somebody wants to list an order or plate they placed, let me know so I can order it...
