The tacos here could possibly be the place where tacos originated. A surreal burst of flavor with every bite that is taken leaves you wanting more. You can also feel and savor every different texture, from the white grated cheese and the acidity of the cilantro. To that sweet caramelized onion and the moist ripe avocado melting in your mouth then to top it off, the tripa made to perfection with such an amazing crunch, yet soft texture… it truly makes your mouth water and crave more. I drive by this place often and finally decided to give it a try. I thought all taco places in Brownsville sucked (ultimo, Otro rollo, mr. Taco--super overrated and seriously lacking) but this one is sooo good. We always order to go so our food isn't the hottest but still tastes great by the time we eat it. We have tried the tacos de bisteck, taquitos Rojos and sopes--all so good and very filling. Also, NO greasy mini tortillas here and both taquitos Rojos and sopes come with a nice order of thick-cut fries. 😋 I recommend ordering one of each and sharing. They took 45 minutes to get my order. Then the order was wrong. They give you the cokes warm an on a glass with ice. Coke doesn't taste the same when is not cold enough. lettuce an tomatoes were over holding times already not fresh anymore They are not trained to discard food not to standards. Tacos they put very small amounts of meat very expensive. They have business but poor quality an service. Never coming back to this place...
