We just got home with our order, excited to eat because we've been wanting to try this place out for some time. Regretfully, when we went to serve ourselves barbacoa and opened the packet, it was inedible. Normally with barbacoa there is going to be some fat mixed in with the shredded beef, but this was as if someone had saved fat from some other barbacoa and then put it in a food processor with very fatty barbacoa. As you can see from the photos, there were no salvageable shreds of meat. My husband who likes the fatty parts of barbacoa took one bite and spit it out. I travel from long distance to purchase menudo and barbacoa with them. I purchase this morning menudo and barbacoa. Sadly to say menudo had 2/3 inches chucks of pieces unable to chew on it. Purchase 2 lbs of barbacoa and it was cold also tortillas were cold. It was not worth the pay very unsatisfied don’t know why customer services was very poor today also. My sister told me about this place and omg, it is excellent! For $4.50, I get a plate of nopalitos and papas a la mexicana with a side of beans and rice. They also throw in a good amount of fresh, corn tortillas and green salsa. If nopales aren't your thing, they have a wide variety of other dishes. This place is my new favorite spot for mexican food.
