I had the haddock sandwich, which was simply excellent. It was a wonderfully sized breaded and fried chunk of fish on a fresh, crispy bun. Top marks for the sandwich. But be careful about checking prices. The sandwich was fine, at around $11 for the sandwich and chips, but one of our group got the lobster roll which was about half the size of the sandwich and like $23. They also charge $2 for a small soda and $2.50 for a large, but the large comes in a cup that would be considered a small in most places, maybe 12oz but it certainly seemed even smaller, with ice, and no free refills. I wonder how small the small was. My personal recommendation: get the haddock sandwich, substitute fries for the chips (the fries were great! The chips were just a small bag of lays) and get a water. That sandwich was amazing.

A note to Cameron’s: Guys, you are leaving money on the table with the drink situation. I know restaurants make their biggest margins on soft drinks but at that size for that price everyone at our table agreed that we were just going to get water next time. And think about this, I often go to restaurants just with friends to sit and chat. When we do that we go somewhere with free refills. Frequently we sit there long enough that we end up ordering food or even dessert. You’re missing out on that revenue too. And regarding the chips, can’t you at least pour them out in the basket? Dropping a little bag of lays next to a sandwich just feels kinda lazy. But that sandwich, don’t change a thing. That was excellent. Those fries were great too. If you heaped up large portions of fries with that sandwich and threw in free refills, man, I’d be here every...

The last time we got food from Cameron’s was in June - just lobster rolls and chips - and it was good Today, Oct. 11, we arrived at 12:45, and our to-go order for 3 cold lobster rolls, fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms was promptly taken. It wasn’t terribly busy at the time, though other customers began arriving after us. We waited 45 minutes, while customers arrived, ordered and were served their food before we received ours. We put our lights back on and waited another 5-7 minutes without anyone coming to check on us. We finally flagged down a server and asked if 50 minutes was the usual wait, which we were advised it was not usual. A few minutes later our server came out with our bags of food. The lobster rolls and sides were sort of tossed in the box - not wrapped in any way. The fries, onion rings and mushrooms were all cold. The toasted buns were cold. I asked our server if the wait was usual, and she said there were a lot of customers and half-heartedly offered to get an order of fries. I said it was clear the food had been waiting for some time as it was all cold…the server didn’t really deny it or say very much at all. Since we’d waited close to an hour already and had people waiting for food, we finished paying and left. We didn’t even get an apology. Where is your...

When I came up to the inside stand and said I'd like to place a to go order, the employee seemed agitated and said "well it's going to be like 40 minutes" in a way that seemed like she was trying to dissuade the order (was a little after 6pm). I said sorry I had been trying to call for 30 minutes while driving to the restaurant to place the order ahead and was told "we can't keep up when it's busy like this." I asked if it was ok to still order something and was allowed to. My husband said the lady helping him when he picked up the food was friendly so maybe I just came in when she was having a flustered moment.

Got the fisherman's platter and the oyster basket. Opened it up at home and disappointed that we received Cole slaw with one of the meals instead of the sweet fries ordered.

The clams, oysters, and baked beans were delicious. Breading fell off the scallops but they were still really tasty.

Fries were average crinkle cut from a bag style. Fish was dry and the shrimp were small.

If in the area again I would give another try but will stick with the oysters, clams, or scallops and double check all the boxes of my order before...

Today is my birthday and my husband drove me down to the coast to celebrate. Our lunch stop was at Cameron's.... PERFECT choice!! I have been wanting a lobster roll for my birthday lunch and I knew about this place from when I used to live in Brunswick. I was never able to stop by then because the parking lot was always busy. Today's visit was perfect on so many levels...it was both myself and my husbands first trip here, today was a special day AND the food was absolutely amazing. I had the lobster roll basket with coleslaw and sweet potato fries, my husband ordered the grilled pastrami sandwich basket with regular fries and coleslaw and we split the Seafood Combo (it's a 1/2 pint of fried clams, shrimp and scallops). This was the best seafood I've had in a very long time. I make regular trips to the coast, and Cameron's is our Go To for seafood. I also wanted to mention that our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was very personable, cheerful and made sure we had a great time.

Ok- had to stop by and check this place out. First, it was on my list of places to review but I had here’s about it from my electrician. Yes, it is a whole in the wall place. Nothing to look at and no posh tables or chairs, but the food was amazing. The calamari was tender and came with the most robust garlicky butter sauce that we ended up using on everything else we ordered. I had the broiled haddock plate with fries and onion rings and MMC had the scallop special with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked just right flaky and tasty and the scallops were tender and juicy. Both sets of fries were crisp and not greasy. It is not the cheapest and you have to pay for drink refills but it was fresh, the service was great and the food came out fast.

The prices are reasonable, service was great and the food is good - now if they only had adequate seating this would be a 5 star rating. They do have curb service if you don't mind eating in your car, or outside seating if the weather permits. The lobster bisque had plenty of lobster in it and was tasty if a bit thin in the stock texture. The lobster roll was overflowing with lobster, the French fries were excellent and the coleslaw was acceptable if a bit lacking in tartness. Crab cakes were very good and had just enough binder to hold them together. The strawberry shortcake was excellent and the pecan bread pudding with ice-cream was to die for. Definitely recommended.
