This is a fine college by almost any standard. Our son graduated in 2007 with a major in biology, minor in economics, and had a wonderful experience. His only regret is not taking full advantage of the great outdoor club. We moved nearby the college after many years in England because the school plays such a positive role in the quality of life in neighboring communities. Visitors are welcome on campus for nearly all cultural and sporting events, at no cost, very unusual. In recent years the women's basketball team has been one of the best Division III teams in the country, always fun to watch. Field hockey and ice hockey teams are also of note. The college has wonderful programs for auditing classes and for local families to serve as host parents for students from far away, both of which we enjoy a great deal. High quality food is served on campus and a fine learning experience for the right students. A bit too liberal for my tastes but that's the direction many schools have turned in recent years.
