Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Bryant

Close to our Airbnb The parking lot is a little jacked up I gave it three stars because we specifically went there for their unique donuts that are decorated like characters but when we got there they did not have any. We did go at 10:30 and the person behind the counter explained that sometimes they have them, so call ahead if that is why you're headed that way. If not, the donuts were good and the kids (3&5) were happy. The adults ordered biscuits and gravy. They were decent. I wanted OJ and they were out of that but I understand it was Sunday and their truck was coming the following day. Inside was clean and the service was very friendly. Atmosphere is bout the same as any donut shop I've ever been in. Service was nice, fast and friendly. The food was Horrible. I got a normal kolache and a chocolate glazed donut. First the kolache. It was warm and the sausage was good but the bread was terrible in taste, texture, and moisture. It was drier than the Sahara, tasted like straight up flour and was NOT a croissant like 99% of all donut shops who sell kolaches. I have always had a great experience at daylight donuts since they opened in earlier 2000's at the Bryant location. The food is wonderful and so are the owners. My only concern is that the company is getting too secular. I used to love coming in and hearing encouraging music like Klove and seeing inspirational pictures on the walls.
