Living close by my son sometimes requests TB for lunch/dinner. Today my wife and I went through the drive thru ordering (2) chicken quesadillas, (1) cheese quesadilla without creamy jalapeño sauce and double cheese. In addition we also had (2) beef soft tacos and (1) cheesy fiesta potato. My wife specifically requested that the potato’s be made fresh as this particular restaurant tends to not like to keep the potatoes fresh..I’m assuming the potatoes are cooked and placed into a warmer until they’re sold. I have also been told some time ago that the potatoes are only to be kept for a certain period of time in the warmer. My frustration in bothering to write this lengthy review is rooted in that this has happened the last 4 or 5 times that we have purchased meals there and the fiesta potatoes are very good, IF the potatoes are actually somewhat fresh. When they aren’t, similar to the last several times of our visits, they (the potatoes) are dried and shriveled, taste burnt, and almost metallic. Lastly, the double cheese quesadilla had less cheese than the chicken quesadillas we ordered. Now that we’ve spent 30$ On meals, 10$ of which was wasted, the potatoes were not fit to eat, the double cheese quesadilla had almost a slice of cheese. Beyond frustrated and I am left wondering, do managers or employees not have standards or expectations and if so, why are they not being adhered to?
To be fair, I’ve eaten at many different franchises across the state as I travel for work and sometimes TB is the only place open; many times even these TB’s have the same problems with their potatoes. This is just a bit more frustrating when several years ago our TB here on Reynolds Rd, in Bryant used to be excellent. Sadly we cannot say that any longer. My advice to other individuals looking for a good meal is to take the extra while and make your own food, at least at the supermarket the food is fresh and you can be sure you’re getting what...
Read moreWould it be difficult to let us know when ordering that you're out of an ingredient, and provide carb counts in the kiosks?
One burrito was cold while the others were either stuck to the wrapper or burnt, or not even close to what we ordered. Or they just fell apart. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for efficiency and getting the person's food out as quickly as possible. And I understand no one, not a single soul is perfect. But please, be sure you actually read the order. For example, I'm a insulin dependent diabetic and if I order a diet coke .. IT HAS TO BE DIET COKE, DIET PEPSI, DIET DR. PEPPER, etc. Diet coke and regular coke taste very similar, so if I'm given regular coke, 9 times out of 10, especially if it has ice in it, (the ice waters it down), and in told it's diet coke when it's not, I or someone else who is a diabetic could very well end up having a hospital visit.
The Same goes for the food, if I say light on something such as the rice, it has to be light because again, insulin dependent and carbohydrates. I'm not bashing anyone here, I'm simply trying to provide opportunities for the folks here to improve upon. Again, I know we're all human and we all make mistakes. But please try to make sure you read the order and pay attention when you're putting the drinks in cups and when you're attaching the syrups to the...
Read moreThis is absolutely the worst fast food restaurant I have ever visited. My last visit I swore that I would never go back, but my wife wanted it last nite. It had been a few months since my last horrible experience with this particular restaurant, so I gave in. Hoping that the management and employees have changed.... Well, if they changed, they didn't get any better at all. It was raining and I was in the drive through, window down, giving my order. The female employee that was taking my order, was playing games with another employee at the same time. I know this because she was laughing each time she pushed her talk button to ask me what I had just told her. I had to repeat my order 3 times and each time when she called it back to me, she was laughing and had my order wrong. After the third try, I was very upset and I left the drive through went to the window and her and another male employee were playing and laughing. I rolled my window down to let them know how unprofessional they were and that I would never be back. I am sure it didn't matter to them. I wish I could speak to the franchise owner so I could inform them of how awful the workers and managers are that they have running or should I say ruining...
