U.S. Pizza Co. | Bryant — Restaurant in Bryant

We have been patrons of this location for over 13 years now. We've visited for family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and whenever we wanted good pizza and salad. However, both the quality of the food and customer service has drastically declined in recent years. Tonight's visit has to be the worst we've experienced. My husband picked up two large salads on the way home. He requested them as we always have, no iceberg lettuce. He asked that they use romaine and spinach instead. I was completely disgusted to discover the spinach was yellow, wilted, slimy, and old. They put just enough on top to cover the bed of old and brown iceberg lettuce underneath. The majority of that was the hard white heart of what should have been romaine lettuce. It too, was old. $30 for rotten lettuce. We called to speak with a manager. We explained the issue to Michelle. She first said that she went to the salad station and checked herself and everything was fine. She said we could bring them back. My husband explained that's a 20-minute drive. She said that we could bring it back tomorrow. Looking at the salad and disgusted with the situation, I decided to take them back tonight. When I arrived I went inside and was greeted by a nice young lady at the door. I told her I needed to see Michelle. She took me to her. When Michelle came out, she was somewhat dry and asked what the problem was. I told her that she spoke with my husband and showed her the salad. She said, "yeah this is awful it never should've gone out." She asked if I wanted her to remake it or a refund but that she couldn't do both. Regardless of having to drive 20 minutes to return a rotten salad, I opted for another salad. Michelle took my order and said she would fix it herself. Shee had to pull the spinach and lettuce from the same salad bar that she told us was fine when we called 20 minutes earlier. I could see it from where I was standing. She even told me she had to get fresh lettuce and spinach. The salad she made was much better and fresh. However, during my wait I was even more disgusted with some of the employees. An older gray-haired lady came from the back. She didn't notice me at the counter. She was joking with some of the guys who were making pizzas. Every other word out of her mouth was pu$$y. They tried to tell her to watch her mouth because they did see me. Her response was "I don't give a f*" followed but her own laughter as she made another comment with the word pu$$y again. One of them motioned towards me and she said "oops" followed by more of her hideous laughter. Still nothing taking it serious she jokingly tells out "ummm my name is Tammy" which was followed by laughter from all of them. To yell out a fake name in the event I reported the issue shows that she knew her behavior was inappropriate. Her language was more disgusting than the rotten lettuce in the salads. I expect better from a family-oriented restaurant. She is truly an embarrassment to women and should be ashamed for her the language she used not only on front of me, but in front of the younger girls who work there who were at the counter as well. Her behavior and language are aiding in creating a toxic and unsafe environment for those young ladies. To use such vulgarity with men is even more troubling. She's opening the door for them to think other women who work there or even customers will think it's funny. It will only lead to bullying, harassment, and sexism in the workplace. The food was fabulous. Before I give my experienced review I have to counter the negative review I read prior to mine.

I speak as a professional in the food arena when I say...The marinara and pasta sauces were true to Italy in the area of sweetness and being very well seasoned as it should. Too many people today are so desensitized pallet wise because of all the processed garbage from jars and cans. Few today truly know much about what a good pasta, pizza or marinara sauce should be unless they have made it themselves like I have for more than 40 plus years with true Italian roots recipes from Italy!

Now for the actual review of our experience.

Our server Kaitlynn was so sweet, she took our order promptly and everything came out to our table fairly fast for a place that so packed. That being said, apparently one or two negative reviews doesn't mean doodly squat to the true blue patrons of US Pizza.

One of our orders was off and when it was delivered by Jordon he said I have already made a correction and it will be out right away. I never had to say a thing and really wasn't that worried about it. The meatballs and sauce was as good as mine. Perfectly caramelized and seasoned and meshed so well with that well cooked pasta and sauce! I didn't need to add a thing, I just enjoyed the fare and was quite satisfied to the point of a take out box for the corrected item. So on that note...The customer service far exceeded the food, and the food was extremely awesome! This was my very first visit and I am glad I went. and it was all delicious. Hats off to Kaitlynn and Jordon you guys are the prime example of what good customer service is...

The pizza was a huge disappointment! We (party of 4) ordered an appetizer (4 peppers "stuffed" with cheese) from the menu. What a sad plate of 2 peppers cut in half with cheese melted on them. Not anything like the menu described! We also ordered a large Salad (loaded), and it was great! The house dressing was the best! We also ordered the Supreme Pizza, and it was just plain Blah! It needed more seasoning in the sauce! We decided to try a Muffaletta sandwich, and it too was just Blah! We spoke to the Manager about our order, not to complain, but to suggest that they use more seasoning in the pizza sauce, and he said that he appreciated our feedback and would talk to the kitchen staff. As we prepared to leave after our mediocre meal, we visited the ladies restroom to find that it was a filthy mess! You could see that it had not been cleaned in weeks! Again, we approached the Manager to let him know of the restrooms condition, and was met with a less than enthusiastic response from him. He rolled his eyes and said that he would look into it. Needless to say, that probably was the last time we will be patronizing this restaurant.
