The hostest just pointed at a table and said, "Sit there. We waited 15+ minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there and got menus. Our server had no sense of urgency. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks after she took our order. When she brought our drinks, she only had 2 straws. She said she would be right back with 2 more. We waited 5 minutes, and my husband had to get up and find our own straws. When we ordered, She never bothered to ask how we would like our food. We had 4 people in our party. We got two meals brought to us. Waited another 5 to 10 minutes for the other two meals to be brought to us. My burrito meal was cold. The tortilla wasn't even cooked, and the steak was room temp at best. We waved down the manager, and he said he didn't know how it was cold because it just came off the grill. But he could remake it. When it came back, it was finally cooked. It even looked different. Our server never asked if we needed refills on soda or if we wanted any more chips and salsa. She finally came back when it was time for us to get the bill. When checking out the same girl who pointed at a table for us to sit at, took our bill, rang it up, took our credit card, handed back two receipts, and said nothing. Well, if this is the only option for the good people of Buchanan (Buck-hanan) to acquire Mexican food, l do feel sorry for them. Was in town for the fried pie festival and used this place to get out of the heat (hey, Buchanan towns, people, have this festival the weekend before the UGA vs. FL game). Not as busy as you'd expect, but never got past the chips and salsa - it's possible they forgot we were there. However, the salsa was bland like canned toms, and the chips were bitter tasting. The food used to be good, but it's awful now. The takeout service is AWFUL. The girl at the register didn't know what I had ordered by giving her my name she was reading off random orders on the computer and asking me which one was mine. Really and these idiots want to be paid $15.00 per hr. I called back to complain and to inform her that I would not be returning ever and she thanked me and hung up. $54.00 for a dinner that we threw most of it in the trash (where it belongs).
