McCoy Creek Tavern — Restaurant in Buchanan

We went twice while visiting the area, the first night we had their special .79 wings with an order of fries and mac and cheese bites. The wings were crispy and the sauces were great, fries are good especially dipped in ranch(don't know if ranch is homemade but it was excellent) and we all loved the mac and cheese bites and I'm not normally a fan. Second night was burgers and chicken strips, burgers were fantastic, big, and cooked perfect. Chicken strips were fresh, crispy, and HUGE. Trust me when I say if you didn't stop at the dispensary first only get the half order, 2 is more than enough. The service was welcoming and the atmosphere was nice although it is fairly small. Even though everyone seemed to be locals we felt treated like one also, so much nicer than what I see in a big city. Overall great place and cant wait to pass thru...

Not enough beer selection and it doesn't feel clean. I don't even trust them for beer anymore because the last one seemed so watered down I wanted to give it back to them. Im very familiar with Belles Two Hearted, and I don't blame Belles. Instead.....Walk out the back door of McCoy Creek Tavern and to the left, you will find BnW Village Inn. Extremely clean, nice owners and staff, very clean bathrooms, a rack of fantastic sauces (in what looks like new bottles) served with the smoked pulled pork and the salad is not just a truck stop cafe kind of salad with Iceburg lettuce n tomatoes. No....It's actually got dark green lettuce. And get the house...

New to the neighborhood and town. We were treated well and enjoyed are visit to our new watering hole. Came back the next day for a quick meal (snack ) and we were surprised it was open on a Sunday! The food is your typical bar fare with a few twist. Only let down was the fried mushrooms are pre-made before the hit the fryer. I gave it 5 stars based on the fact we were treated well and a round of drinks didnt cost a fortune. 3 hard ciders 1 stoli red bull 24.00 with tip. Great bar tenders very informative on the area and no big city boooohgeeeeeee bs or...
