Federico’s Mexican Food — Restaurant in Buckeye

We have eaten here a couple of times. Truck driver here, and we have been to many places. Really nice when you walk in. Love the music and friendly greeting. Sometimes, they can be distracted with the headset, I figure they are learning to ignore chatter in their ear. Food: carne asada fries; I really thought they were skimpy for the price. I may be spoiled, but I am accustomed to the pile of fries with toppings that barely let you close the lid! Asada flavor was good, not great. Rolled tacos; just not great. Guacamole is being "watered down" with too much pico de gallo and really no flavor. Chilaquiles (green sauce); asked for eggs to be cooked over medium but got over easy instead. I liked the flavor and the corn tortilla held up. Rice and beans are not great, average. Watermelon agua fresca is my favorite! Best I've ever had. If this place would cook more traditionally with flavors and not worry about portions to the point of killing repeat customers, I think they could...

The food at Federico’s is always delicious, and most of the staff are friendly and provide great service. I’ve been to this location many times and never had an issue unless the lady with dark/black hair and tattoos on her wrist (listed as “Server 1” on the receipt) is working.

She always has a really bitchy attitude, gives rude looks, and ignores customers. The first time it happened, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but after today, it’s obvious that’s just how she is. It’s pretty clear she doesn’t enjoy working in customer service — and honestly, maybe she shouldn’t if she can’t treat customers with respect.

Went thru the drive thru today. No cars in front of me and o one inside the the establishment. My order was repeated to me correctly, by the time I got to the window (30 secs) they had billed me for something other than 2 tortas. Waited for 8 min for my order. When I got home and opened it I was extremely pissed. Very small sandwich for the 10,50 I spent, a ton of lettuce, the top of a tomato slice with the green center core & dirt on it. A little turd of guacamole and a 1/8 slab of seasonless meat on a 6 in bun. Then I took.a bot of this flavorless veggie sandwich and trashed the rest.
