The Grubwagon continues searching for great food and fun things to do on a road trip up Hwy. 101. This is my first time ever camping or traveling in an RV, and I am totally hooked. It’s so nice to have a bathroom right behind you, a refrigerator for all your snacks and drinks, even a coffee pot for whenever you want. I didn’t think I would sleep as good as I did either in the queen size bed, but with the window cracked at night and the sound of a stream or ocean in the background it was so relaxing!! So on this episode, I’ve got two great spots for you: @industrialeats for the Skirt Steak Pizza @ostrich_land for a $7 entry fee and $1 for a bowl of food you get to feed the ostriches and emus MAJOR SHOUT OUT to Mike Thompson RV for hooking me up with The Grubwagon for this adventure all summer long! They’re having a big sale through Memorial Day weekend and the details are below - if you’ve ever dreamed of traveling in your own RV, trailor or motorhome, let Mike Thompson RV help you make that a reality! The Real RV Sale is back!… happening now thru May 27th, at all @mikethompsonrv locations. We’re Slashing Prices on a Huge Selection of New and Used RVs. Closing out all remaining 2023’s. My recent visit to Industrial Eats near Solvang, CA was a bit of a mixed bag, but overall, I left with a positive impression and a determination to give it another try. Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the bustling atmosphere, with a line stretching out the door. While this initially seemed overwhelming, it was a testament to the popularity of the establishment. However, the setup at the bar with the menu placed off to the side made it challenging to decide what to order amidst the hustle and bustle. By the time I reached the front of the line, I felt a bit rushed and slightly overwhelmed. Despite the initial chaos, the food itself was fantastic. I opted for the Potato and Sage pizza, drawn in by the rave reviews, but unfortunately, mine arrived with a burnt bottom, which affected the overall taste and texture of the crust. However, the attentive staff were quick to accommodate my request for extra goat cheese to help balance out the burnt flavor, which was greatly appreciated. On the brighter side, the Petite Filet, Spinach, Mushroom, Mash dish was an absolute standout. The filet was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy and flavorful - truly a dish to die for. Overall, while my experience at Industrial Eats had its ups and downs, the delicious food and accommodating staff left me eager to give it another try. With such a great selection of dishes and a fantastic deal on local wines, I'm hopeful that my next visit will be a flawless 10/10 experience.

My wife and I had dinner here 4 26 25. We think this restaurant is one of the 2 best places to eat in Southern Cali. The other is Girl and A Goat owned by an Iron chef.

My first positive impression here was perusing the cook books the chef kept on a shelf by the cooks statuin. A bunch of Japanese cook books at a pizza place struck me as interesting as well as the live crab on ice at the checkout.

This trip we noticed the library was much enlarged in the side dining room. Incredible resource offering an incredible insight into this chef owner, his flavors and his food interests. I was told the increased library was because the chef owner passed last year and they want to honor him with this library. The books were dirty and used. MD's and PHD's do not study this many books to do their jobs. I was unable to fight back the tears as I perused the shelves.

We ate escargot, salmon carpaccio, miso cod and kimchi. Again not your standard pizza place. Everything was perfect. Escargot melted in our mouthes. Salmon melted. Yeah there is a theme here. The best Miso Cod I've ever eaten. Even with the skin on a touch of the fork made the flakes separate. I've made miso cod twice in the last few weeks and IE wins !! The kimchi was fresh spicy and again spicy.

The chefs that have taken over the reigns for this incredible chef owner with an inspired vision should be commended. The honor and respect for the previous chef owner is obvious.

I can't imagine the recent challenges the entire staff has experienced however I can say IE is still one of the best places to...

Hi guys. Today I had the most incredible experience at Industrial Eats in Buellton!! I have to give a big giant shout out!!!!! I went there to pick up lunch for 6 others……I don’t usually eat there cuz it’s more meat based, and I’m more veg based 😜. Most places make me feel like I’m a hassle sooooo as I called to order my lunch I apologized for ordering something off the menu, and kindly asked if they could just make me a veggie Sandwich. The guy on the phone, Kevin, was so sweet….asked me detail after detail about what I wanted in my Sandwich; then when I got there to pick it up it was literally a magical experience. Kevin, The guy I talked to on the phone, and a literal chef were working together to make this masterpiece that I will never forget!!! I got tears in my eyes at the patience and kindness and love in this experience. It felt like I time travelled to the 80’s when people were mostly kind and heartfelt. Below you can view this incredible masterpiece….,,. It’s not on the menu, But by all means should be!!!! Yayyyyyy Industrial Eats I’ll never forget my experience today. ♥️♥️♥️

Ps. Avocado..beets…basil..heirloom tomatoes..red onion…basil…lettuce. Omg!!!!! PSs. After writing this I have found out they have lots of other vegetarian options!!!!!but I’ll probably never get...
