The person in charge was very obnoxious. She first yelled at a new bus boy/Host because he tried to seat us in a closed section in the front. Then as we were re-seated she said to him “did you tell them about breakfast”? She talks very loud and says things in the service area that the guests don’t need to know. We learned a lot about the restaurant today. Like the coffee guys needs to leave more cleaner next time he comes and the buss boys will get tips next weekend because they are still in training and told other crew members that the new guys is a little slow. And they are out of hamburger buns. Heard all of this from our table as they conversed in the service area. Our server had a better manner as she took our order but just slightly. She took our order and when I requested 2 special requests on a sandwich she said “Wait, wait I have to put in all your “no’s”. On the hand held device. At 1:14pm person in charge told the bus guy to “put up the sign”. I know the sign outside says closed at 2ish, but come on. As a guest came in after that she barked at the boy again “DID YOU PUT UP THE SIGN”? Overall we were okay with the food but atmosphere was a bit hostile and like an old school “Mel’s Diner”. May we should have ordered the food to go and made everyone happy. Or just left and saved $48 Thank you for your time We will be...
Read moreAlways mixed service with this place. My last visit, on 4th July 2018, was horrible!!!! You could tell that the waitress didn't want to be there (that's a given) but all issues started when we asked for a high chair, she grabbed it and told us to take car of it cause her hands were full... She had a single water glass in one hand. She kept putting stuff in front of my 15 month old, we'd have to move it. then she places a coffee cup in front, my husband goes to move it but she starts to pour regardless, my kid goes to touch the hot glass pot and instead of stopping, she just moves forward and pours scalding hot coffee into my husband's privates and thigh. He ended up needing to leave and went home, leaving me to wait for food (always sub par there). Then an ice water cup is place near my kid who then pours it all over herself and goes into a panic. Food comes, and I take my husband's to the bar to return it since he refused to ear after being burned, the chef sees me with the plate, scowls, ignores me then turns and leaves. I explain to the waitress we don't want it, she's pissed at me too. Management doesn't want to apologise, I'm avoided the whole time when paying the check and then they had the audacity to charge for my Husband's coffee that he clearly didn't drink! Never going back here again and I'm a...

Because of covid, there is NOTHING on the table as far as condiments, so we had to ask for salt and pepper for our eggs, ketchup for our hashbrowns, hot sauce for my husband... the server wasn't very intuitive and didn't ask or offer us these things. He did ask if we wanted jam for our toast, and what kind, but he didn't bring any sugar or anything for my hot tea and I felt like I'd bothered him too much already asking for everything else, so I just went without. I know these things were probably always already on the table pre-pano, and old habits die hard, but c'mon... we've been dealing with this new way of doing things for at least a year, so whatever the condiment side work used to be is now a thing to offer the customer so we don't have to feel like a burden asking for every little thing. We kind of left with our heads down just out of feeling embarrassed for him having to run around for condiments. I never want to be a high-maintanence customer!
If you're sitting outside, bring a sweater! You're in the shade, and there's a draft on windy days. You'll hear a lot of semi trucks going by directly outside the tent, so if that phases you, they do have...
