I heard about Bobo The Boba’s grand opening on social media, and since I live nearby, I had to check it out! They offer a wide variety of unique flavors, including fun options like mango chamoy, lychee, and peach green tea, along with classics like brown sugar, taro, and matcha. For those needing a caffeine fix, there’s a selection of coffee drinks like coffee brulee, matcha coffee, and even ube coffee.

They also have an extensive selection of toppings beyond the usual boba, including pudding, grass jelly, aloe vera, and even “rainbow jelly.” If you’re lactose intolerant or prefer alternative milks, they have almond, oat, and soy options available.

In addition to drinks, they offer taiyaki—adorable fish-shaped Japanese waffle cakes with fillings inside, a unique and fun menu addition for a boba shop.

While waiting for your drink, you can try your luck at their claw machines near the register, including ones with Demon Slayer and Naruto figurines, perfect for anime fans!

The staff recommended the Bobo King from their specialties menu, and I loved it from the first sip! It’s perfectly sweet, and the cream on top is delicious. It’s easily one of the best brown sugar milk teas I’ve tried.

A quick Sunday night pit stop for bubble tea, and we decided on stopping at the one with the highest ratings on Google. Plenty of parking around, which was appreciated with how busy the complex still was at 8pm. There are a couple of seats outside, with a few more seating options inside. We claimed the counter seats by the window while we waited for our order. Nice spot to people watch, and the atmosphere was very chill. Service was friendly and quick, about 10 minutes for our 3-drink order. I tried the Lychee Yogurt($6.15)  with no toppings - super refreshing and yummy! My friend ended up trying Taro Twist($6.75) and Dragon Slayer($6.75), and both drinks were also very good. No artificial taste or being too sweet. I was very surprised with how good this experience was and would totally come back here...

They offer a good variety of boba drinks and flavors to choose from. Even though they have set drinks, I was glad to see that they also have my usual go-to drink. They make the drinks a bit sweeter than other shops so make sure to adjust the sweetness level!

The shop itself is kind of small but they have a couple of tables, a couch and a bar to sit at. The worker were nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our drink.
