Avenue's Restaurant & Catering — Restaurant in Buffalo

I ordered a pizza to take back out of town with me to share with my co worker because I talked about how good the pizza was when I got my pizza back to pack it up so it can travel with me I open up the box and to my surprise The crust was like a deep dish pizza because the dough had been sitting out and the yeast started blooming there was no sauce because of dough had absorbed it in the baking process I called Avenue and told them about the pizza all they can say was because it is hot outside the dough rises and there was nothing they can do about it no the dough rises because you leave it out when you Pre make your pizza so now my pizza looks like a deep dish pizza from Chicago and it taste just as bad. Oh and yes they told me to bring it back but I was to far away from the store I will not be getting any more pizza from them and my advice to Avenue make all your pizza the same as you do on a cold day you never know when someone come back in town just to get a pizza to take back to brag on there...

I have given this business so many opportunities to change my mind about them, but no matter what; the service sucks, the food and it's presentation is awful. their attitudes about this poor service is equally poor. Everytime, I have recieved a pizza from them it has been over cooked and cold. Or it was not prepared the way that I had requested it. There are extremely to many pizza shops in the Hertel Avenue area to canvas than to waste time and money on Avenue's Pizza. Years ago, they were the only place that I would frequent, not the shop on Hertel, the Avenue's on Elmwood, and the one on Broadway, sometimes the one Genesee Street. But Boy, has their quality of service, and food has surged to the depth of below subpar. It is shameful, just shameful. Do yourself a favor folks, don't eat here, you have way to many other better...

The sub sandwiches are fine good and ok but the fries are bland and goes a bit overcooked which I never eat them due to its bland and overcooked when I see them I wish the fries need some seasoning and better taste texture and better flavor than being bland and overcooked fries the sides like mozzarella sticks garlic cheese bread etc are ok and pretty interesting so this place is ok to me but I wish the fries needs more better taste and needs some better seasoning fries than the bland and overcooked fries so I wish the fries of today needs better improvement. Avenues pizza is ok to me the sub sandwiches of steak and cheese or eggplant parmesan sandwiches is good and amazingly ok. But I wish the french fries could've been better cooked better and to make the fries seasoning a bit better. This place is...
