Big Dan's Smokin' Barbecue LLC — Restaurant in Buffalo

I just had my first BDSBBq experience and want to share some of the experienced "problems" with the cuisine...

First off, it smelled good. I mean, really good. I had just finished my lunch when my son came home with the bounty..."here you go guys.." I have been doing well on my calorie count by meal watch and wanted to postpone sampling till later...but that aroma kept wafting underneath my NY nostrils in a most compelling way.

I succumbed. Took out the fork and manhandled it. It doubled down on me...this delight was BURSTING with flavor... flavor - i remember that from back in the day...

so now i have decision issues...do I stuff more in my mouth or take my time and let it melt..i compromised and did a little bit of both...i am not a spice loving kindaGuy, usually avoiding heat and garlic when i can...but this was so perfectly crafted that I am planning a full lunch with some adult beverage...

Don't tell the vegetarian son who brought this home for his brother and me, but I did sneak a forkful of his mac 'n cheese. It was a handful of Heaven.

This review is not part of a promotion. In truth I am acquainted with Big Dan, but that only feeds my enthusiasm for relating my story...i could have said the usual "hey man it tastes good".

There are political consequences to consuming. It may change one's mind if you're considering becoming a f/t vegetarian.

AWESOME BBQ!!! I went here on a late Friday afternoon to get my mom an early Mother's Day gift. She loved it. I got her the Rib Dinner Special. It was way more for her than I thought. It was 4 ribs in ⅓ rack. Very tasty and much bigger than I expected. It came with corn bread, baked beans, and mac n cheese. She & I could have shared it. Soft and fall off the bone ribs. It had a nice hint of cherry wood and bit of spice. I got myself the Texas Brisket Sandwich. It was spicier than the ribs but I actually liked it more. Very moist and tender beef. It came with a dip that had a bit of a kick to it. I hope to return to try the pulled pork & pulled chicken sandwich. Big Dan's has Wonderful BBQ! And the lady who served me was very nice. No lines and everything was packed nicely to go. If you're nearby ECMC hospital or just want some good BBQ,...

This place is LEGIT. We had catering for a party of 60 at our house and it was excellent. In addition to the amazing food, communication was prompt and professional, and pricing was very reasonable - better than other places of lower quality. Everyone at the party complemented the food and wanted to know where it was from. We ordered beans, mac n’ cheese, cornbread, brisket, chicken and pork. I cant even say what the best thing was, because everyone loved everything. My personal faves were the beans and pork, but people raved about the chicken, brisket and sides. Lee, the catering setup guy, was super accommodating and helpful. Best catering...
