Central Park Grill — Restaurant in Buffalo

I have frequented cpg for years especially when I was working next door in 2021. My coworkers and I came almost every day for lunch. Amanda was the best server and Dylan is the best cook! Now things are different and I don’t really like it. Everything has an up charge. I was there today ordered a few vodka and red bull and was charged an extra 2.00 for red bull in every drink even though one can of red bull was used for my three drinks. That’s more than a normal sized Red Bull in the store. This wasn’t the first time my drinks cost 5 dollars more than usual. This has been going on for a few months. I called and complained Justin said I could get a free drink for the upcharge because it was a mistake. When I went back the following week he didn’t remember that we spoke and didn’t honor his promise. This time when I went My food wasn’t good the grease definitely needed to be changed. This place exemplifies what Buffalo is about. It's off the beaten path. Out of the way from the hustle & bustle. Unsuspecting. Old school. May not be trendy but you'll have a fun time!

I've enjoyed the outdoor patio which came bundled with an interesting karaoke experience. I most recently went for music Bingo and DJ Trivia which happens every Wednesday night and brings in quite a crowd. Winner gets $ towards a bar tab for the following week.

The clientele is diverse and everyone is friendly. A woman at the bar complimented my t-shirt. This article of clothing is a Billabong shirt I've had since high school. It's 10+ years old and doesn't deserve a compliment but I was in the presence of friendly Buffalo folk.

Still one of Buffalo's best kept secrets, the CPG has great food, and a comfy atmosphere. Not much to look at from the outside, once you enter it's surprising how much space is available including a dining/music area a few stairs, and deck outside. The Friday Fish Fry is not to be missed (my fav is the breaded haddock), especially is there is live music. Nice selection of beers too.
