On May 15th at 9:30 PM, my partner and I attempted to go into the McDonald’s at 441 S Craig St in Buffalo, TX. The lobby door stated it closed at 10 PM, and one door was propped open with a wet floor sign. As soon as we stepped inside, we were aggressively shouted at by an employee named Kelly Brown, who told us the lobby was closed.
We pointed out that it was only 9:30 PM and that the sign said 10 PM. Kelly said they close early so they can clean, despite a table of six people still sitting and eating in the darkened lobby. We calmly asked if we could just use the restroom and were rudely told “no,” followed by a scoff. When I asked for her name, she refused to give her last name until asked 3 times, and instead told us to go to the Pilot down the road and located off several amenities they have.
No manager was made available, and the entire experience felt hostile, dismissive, and entirely inappropriate for a national fast food chain. If McDonald’s cares about customer service and professionalism, this kind of treatment should be addressed.
Note: I would’ve totally been okay if she requested us not go in because she was working on closing or cleaning tasks even though we went in 1 1/2 hours before closing. However, instead of communicating she was extremely rude and demanding. She also straight up lied and admitted to it about lobby hours. It’s not a big deal to complete closing tasks early but the hostility from the start was not understood and unnecessary. Again we would’ve respectfully left the restaurant had she communicated she was trying to...
Read moreWell I'm here to tell you, it's going to be the cleanest McDonald's you're going to come around for the surrounding several counties. You got that one guy up there. I think they call him Joseph I think. Well anyway the one that is never dressed like the rest of them. Got all those pins in his apron and cap. He's so damn helpful and kind. Seems like the boy has a heart of gold and just seems driven to please others and take care of business. Im sure that guy has more potential than McDonald's. You got ole Ruth, Hadie, Stacia holdin that fort down for the honorable Mr. Kevin Lilly and Janine Lilly. They are the franchisee operator owners. That's all most of their stores around these parts and they keeping it together the way it should be. Ship shape! That's the...
Read moreThese were the worst coldest chicken nuggets I have ever. They were overcooked and were not even Hot when they were served. I was passing through on my way to houston and stopped here. The attendant was open face yawning while the customer Was placing his order and he did not even Cover his mouth. In addition One of the cooks had on gloves that he was Wiping and brushing his gloved hand across the countertop and then touching people's food to make their sandwiches. Not even considering that he's picking up bacteria off the dirty countertop And then using his same gloved hands to touch people's bread and food. My four-year-old daughter said her Burger was yucky. My order was number 106. I rated the atmosphere higher because the store was actually clean and well...
