Listen, I don’t know what kind of magic is happening in this bakery, but something is up. Everything tastes too good. Like, way too good. The cakes? Moist. The frosting? Suspiciously smooth. And I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I know—deep in my soul—that this is some kind of half-boxed, half-from-scratch sorcery.

I’m convinced the baker has cracked some unholy code of mixing store-bought shortcuts with just enough homemade flair to make everything taste like a nostalgic fever dream. It’s the kind of good where you take a bite and immediately start side-eyeing the kitchen, wondering what exactly is going on back there.

That being said, am I going to stop coming here? Absolutely not. If selling your soul to the boxed cake gods is wrong, then I don’t want this bakery...

The best cake lady you can ever have!!!! When I need a cake made Bianca is #1 on my list. These are some of the cakes that she made for me just this year ! She makes both of my kids birthday cakes every year. Not only are the cakes drop dead gorgeous, but they’re rich in flavor & moist. Bianca is very friendly & sweet and is always organized. Once I place my order I never have to worry about anything no matter how many months in advance I order, Bianca is always on point and the cake always come out better than expected. I (finally!) stopped in to pick up a few cupcakes to try. They were the most delicious cupcakes I had ever eaten! Cupcakes tend to be on the dry side or almost oily to avoid dryness, but these…THESE!! They were light and airy, perfectly moist with delicious flavor. The combinations were impeccably chosen. I typically prefer the cake part and usually scrape off excessive frosting, but these were perfectly proportioned! Surprisingly, my favorite was the strawberry crunch (reminiscent of those ice cream bars)—I normally side with chocolatey treats so it was quite a shock. What a great addition to the Hertel...
