Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Buffalo

I'd suggest going to any other location unless it's the morning shift. This is straight up, consistently, the worst fast food joint I've had the displeasure of ordering from ever. I've had to wait over 30 mins for them to fix orders multiple times, employees trying to hand me random food items outside of bags instead of correctly making and bagging my order, not printing receipts to complicate locating orders, employees trying to ignore everyone waiting, food so overcooked it was inedible (not exaggerating), food so cold it makes the room temp feel warm, food portions that are embarrassing (one time they gave me a literal spoonful instead of a large Mac+cheese because they ran out, but didn't feel like telling me or asking what else I'd want), they refuse to process refunds to customers, etc. In other words this staff does not appear to give a single s--t about the customer, at least in my experience. I hate writing bad reviews, I really do, but this establishment has wasted so much of my time that I wouldn't want it to waste yours. Had enough bad experiences at this location that this most recent trip will be my last. Not a single car there when I arrived. No exterior lights on. I pull up, they take my order, and then ask me to pull into the parking lot. Seems odd given nobody else is there. More cars start coming through. After not too long, there are a good amount of us waiting. I give it 15 mins before I finally walk in. Girl at the front register is clueless. Original girl from drive thru comes out with multiple bags, but no idea which order is which. I eventually get my food and confirm that the items are all there. Finally get back, only to find out that they burnt the food to the point that it’s inedible. Can’t remember the last time I left a review, but I had to let these people know how much they suck at their job. I know it will show they’re clearing cars quickly, all while they have people waiting an eternity to get their food. It went from prioritizing the drive thru over the counter. Now it’s prioritizing online ordering over both. I don’t know how we got here. I just wanted a taco. I will have to settle for...

I was very pleasantly impressed. The drive through line was impossible long so I went inside, and everyone on staff from the order taking cashier, to those preparing the food were extremely kind, attentive, patient, fast and generous. There were a couple things that were off of stock like the spicy ranch which was on everything we ordered, and the cinnamon twists but the staff went above and beyond to compensate for these things. The man preparing our food came up personally, explained that the spicy ranch was out of stock and took the time to give us a side of all other possible sauces to make up for it, as well as a Slushie to help cheer up my 2 year old who's been suffering from a stomach bug the last couple days. They replaced the twists with several fresh baked cookies and were very apologetic for the inconveniences, offering a couple different solutions. It's been a long while since I was greeted and treated so kindly and with such respect and care at some place as simple as a fast food restaurant.
