A must stop ice cream shop located in the heart of Downtown Buffalo. This is a family run shop with a bunch of heart and reminds me of the little ice cream shops up north in cabin country. They have great prices, huge portions and plenty of flavors to chose from. We took the kids to try it out after we went on a walk to explore the town during the Buffalo City Days carnival and it cooled us right down. This is a great thing to add to your weekend list when you get out to hit the farmers market and weekend and occasional shops in downtown. It also makes a great after dinner dessert on any week night when you want to make the day extra special. They also sell hot dogs if you want to make a whole meal out of it. Small group went to Buffalo location. Price board states 2 scoops, same flavor is $5.00. I asked if it’s possible to buy only one scoop. The gal said yes. She did NOT say it was the same price as 2 scoops. When we went to pay and were told the cost, we were all quite disappointed. Some of us had the same flavor (in a cup)and would have been happy to share if we had known the cost. When I mentioned this unfairness to the employee, she didn’t reply at all; no apology, not a word. I notified management via email and did not receive any response. The establishment is clean and has a good variety of flavours; but the employees are clearly not trained well. Service was poor. We love getting our Ice cream from this place! It's reasonably priced, local, and family friendly! We love waking over here from stergus park or the beach. Their variety of ice cream is awesome so you won't get bored! You can also can get hot dogs if you need something not desert! They have a small kids menu. All of their waffle cones come with a malt ball at the bottom as an extra treat! Oh and if you're really hungry try the Big Buffalo which has multiple flavors of ice cream of your choosing and lots of goodies on top! You may need a friend or two to help you...
