Culver’s — Restaurant in Buffalo

We ordered 5 banana splits spent over 30 dollars we went through the drive thru we pulled around the corner and parked. We were opening our banana splits, and they were very, very full. They were dripping everywhere. Come to find out the ice cream was not even solid. It was like eating whipped cream. Couldn't find the ice cream. I don't know if it had been melted. Or if it was all whipped cream, we talked to the manager, and she just was nodding her head and I said, we just want to let you know that when people come through the drive through, when they're full like this. And dripping out of the seal makes a bad mess in the car. I mean, we had ice cream everywhere in the car. On the seats, steering wheel on our clothes, just it's terrible. One of our kids got out in the rain and sat on the ledge to eat her ice cream because she wanted it so bad but she couldn't eat it. She just got frustrated. I love that you get your drinks first and then they bring the food to the table when it's done. It's better than a sit down restaurant where you have to wait for someone to take your drink order and you don't get it right away. It's better than fast food where you have to stand around waiting for your food, or have to interrupt your family time to back up to the counter to pick it up. Our server Carter was very helpful in explaining the difference between items on the menu and all of our options for sides. He even came out to our table later and took our tray and brought us a bag. Arriving on a Sunday night at 7:00pm. Prime time for a late night snack. The place was completely understaffed. I tried to order a concrete mixer with two mix-ins of cookie dough and either the girl working the register is inept or completely deaf because she charged me for two concrete mixers. But since they were so short staffed, she just rang it up and moved on to the next step of taking 30 minutes to get my food and ice cream out to me. When they gave me two ice creams, I tried to say I only wanted one and was met with, "You ordered two". And of course they were too busy to correct anything.
