I first tried Blimpie over a year ago when they still had a store in Gainesville. I ordered The Blimp sandwich and I was surprised at the size of it. As for how it tasted, it was very good. Compared to other sub sandwich restaurants, I found Blimpie to have more of everything in their sandwiches. When the Blimpie in Gainesvlle closed, through Google Maps, I found the next closest one to be on Friendship Rd. I went there for an early dinner and while a smaller location, the atmosphere was homey and the person up front was exceptionally cordial.
