How is this place still open?
Tried to give this place another chance (after swearing to myself that I would NEVER be back) and Iâm absolutely aggravated that I did. How many times does the owner need to be told that his ovens are FILTHY and to clean the place up? Thereâs nothing that the owner can say at this point to defend himself. All he does is leave canned responses to all the reviews anyway. The bottom of the pizza is covered in disgusting chunks of filth. The pizza tastes like chlorine and charcoal. You can see for yourself. Thereâs no cheese, thereâs no sauce. (Has he run out of money? Everyone is saying the same things.)
I donât understand how they are still in business at this point. Where is the heath department? Thatâs right, they donât see the food served.
Everyone that Iâve ever spoke to about this location says theyâve tried it and will never be back. They have said that theyâve posted reviews here and on Nextdoor. The owner apologizes like itâs the first time heâs ever heard it, and does nothing about it.
I was excited when I saw that Johnnyâs pizza moved into Buford. We used to drive to the Spout Springs location multiple times a month until 2019. Then we started going to Vinnyâs. Vinnyâs was closed tonight and we wanted pizza while we watched the ball game. This was more than a mistake on my part.
This location needs to close and another pizza place needs to go in. Itâs obvious the owner doesnât care and I donât see how heâs not making people sick.
I took two bites and that was IT!
Donât take my word for it - pictures donât lie. I should have taken more photos before throwing it out. When I took them, I wasnât thinking about leaving a review. I took the photos to text someone else - to show what they served us. Response: âThatâs really gross. Youâre right they havenât changed one bit. How are they still open? You need to leave them a review on Googleâ so here it is.
Photos are of what was supposed to be just your normal âlarge cheese pizzaâ. Where is the cheese and sauce?...
Read moreFirst time trying this place as it's 5 mins from the house and we have been looking for a good pizza joint, for us and the kids. First experience was a big disappointment and we will probably be looking elsewhere as we found some other spots near by with good reviews. We ordered on Door Dash at 7:30pm with an estimated delivery/drop off time of 50 mins which is understandable being that it's Friday night. Around 8:30pm, I called the store to ask about our order and was told "it just came out of the oven" so I said ok and asked why it took over an hour to cook 1 pizza and some wings and was told "we got really busy" and the young man apologized and said "maybe ask door dash for a discount as we can't do that." This was odd being that Door Dash has nothing to do with the food prep time itself. He took my number down and advised he would call me when the Dasher picked up the order. About 8:40 my wife checked her phone and the Dasher was still about 10-15 mins away from the store and new delivery time was 9pm. I called the store, around 8:45 to ask about the food as this would be 30 mins or so between the food being ready and delivery. The young man advised it was in the warmer and the Dasher just got there. Food was delivered around 9:00ish. Pizza was cold and the wings weren't crispy as ordered because they were soggy and cold. I used to work in the restaurant business for over 10 years as a GM. This is just poor customer service all around. We got all items ordered, so there's that.
Long winded, I know, but we won't be ordering from this place again. Napoli's is right up the road too and...
Read moreThis restaurant just recently opened close to my house. On the way home from work I decided try it and ordered a medium deluxe pizza, $19 with with tax. I was told the order would take 20 minutes so went to the grocery store next door to pick up a few items while waiting. I returned 30 minutes later and the pizza was not ready, waited an additional 10 minutes and it finally came out. When I got in the car it didn't smell right but I went home anyway as I was tired. Getting home I opened the pizza and it looked terrible. The ingredients were not evenly distributed and just dumped in the center for the most part, the pepperoni was over cooked and hard, it was coated in grease, and a large chunk of sausage was burned and looked like a chunk of dog food, there was a complete lack of tomato sauce and it had a greasy appearance of sitting under heat lamps for a long time even though I'm sure this was not the case. Since I paid for the pizza I tried a slice and it tasted as bad as it looked, straight to the trash can. Perhaps since this location recently opened they have not trained their staff properly or have a lack of management but regardless I'll drive the extra distance to where I have been ordering pizza for the past year. Sorry Johnny, hope you get your act together at the new location, complete waste of my...
