I have been eating at Subway restaurants all over the world for over 25 years. This one, and the other two nearby owned by the same owner(Airport/Hollywood Way and Sherman Way next to Papas & beer) are the worst by far. The owner decided to not let customers ask for extra veggies no matter what, so you can only get 4 slices of tomatoes on your footlong sandwich, etc... Managers there have told me that they do not care about what customers think. The day they refused to put more than 4 tomato slices on my footlong sandwich, I politely told the clerk that I would not pay full price for a half-loaded sandwich and she should inform the manager. He called me after I filed a formal corporate complaint and refused to change his rules. He, and one of his employees even told me I OWE them for the sandwich that I decided not to buy after they shorted me the vegetables! I guess the customer comes LAST at this place. I complained to corporate and they said that customers CAN get extra vegetables if they ask, but the owner says his rules apply and not the corporate guidelines. Everyone I've talked to at my office nearby detests these policies and dislikes even walking inside as the environment is hostile. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to a different Subway-any other subway will never do that...
Read moreIf there was a negative star, I'd give negative 5. The owner (that's what he called himself) was so rude and ill-manared when i asked him to bring a new bag of tuna from the fridge because the one in the front looked old and had dry particles. He said "i just put that new one" and i said- it doesn't look new please can you bring a new one? But he said "no" and kept stiring the tuna to cover the dried parts and was trying to convince me that "all the food at the front has been out and it's the same thing as tuna and it's ok to eat". I mentioned that tuna has a higher risk of getting spoiled and poisoning is deadly dangerous but he still acted boor and when i asked the other worker he followed what the older guy was saying. Then i asked to see the manager, he said "I'm the owner" and he said "am i putting this tuna or no? then aggressively he took the 2 foot long breads away that was already toasted with cheese.... Now i see all these other wrong practices that other customers had experienced...
Read morewent to order my sandwich. I saw that they had a promo going for combo with a happy Gilmore cup. I usually don’t get a combo but decided, hey Free happy Gilmore cup. My sandwich was prepared subpar but I was willing to overlook it. She charged me for the meal and when I inquired about the cup, she rudely said “well you should’ve told me about that before I completed the order” and I’ll have to void this transaction and charge you again and it’s a dollar extra in a sassy voice.(unprofessional) after the encounter in our transactions were finalized she quietly walked over to a person I assume with her manager and murmured to him. I walked over, asked her for her name. She says “I don’t have to give you that.” Ok cool, have a nice day I took her photo. And the supposed manager gave me some type of zesty comment on my way out, which I ignored. Honestly if you don’t like your profession,...
