If I could rate this BK a zero I would. The most unprofessional and rude fast food place I've ever been to. I just have to share my experience because I know a lot of my friends frequent Hayti, MO. I stopped at the Burger King and pulled into the outside lane to order since there was a car on the inside. I sat and waited and they didn’t say anything or respond. Meanwhile another car came up and ordered before me from the inside window. This should have been my first clue. So I backup and go into the first lane. Where she tells me to hold on (few minutes later). I order the number 8 chicken sandwich meal large and kids chicken nuggets with apple sauce and milk. She tells me that they’re out of chicken nuggets 🤦🏼♀️. Seriously? Ok, Lilly doesn’t eat burgers yet...so I ask instead for the peanut butter and jelly. She said ok and asked me to pull to the next window for my total (she meant bypass the next window and go to the last). The truck in front of me was still waiting for several minutes and then was asked to pull ahead. At this point I’m considering speeding off and cutting my losses. However, my daughter is hungry and I need caffeine. She came to the window and gave me a sack with a small diet. I said I asked for and paid for larger fry (to share with Lilly of course) and large drink. She changed my drink but not the fry and acted as if it was my fault. I tell her that I need my kids meal. She said oh...what did you get. I tell her I got the pbnj since they were out of nuggets. So she tells me they didn’t order any more pbnj so they’re out of that too. Instead of handing me an applesauce and milk for my trouble...she closed the window with an attitude and I sped off pissed that my daughter got no food. Moral of the story....never ever...

She allows work place bullying , Gaslights and is not a leader . She will make you feel welcomed in the beginning but if you are confident she will start to get intimidated and use the other narcissistic workers to push you out the company . She takes no accountability for her negligence of training workers . She expects you to know what to do thru the door then blames you for making mistakes . Vernice will only press the issue of improvement if there are mandatory deadlines such as reviews and mystery shoppers . Vernice will also not allow people who makes mistakes due to lack of training recieve the training they need even if acknowledged . If you ever communicate with vernice about concerns she will gaslight you and then cry . She will also allow team members on her toxicity level aka flying monkeys to isolate you to make you feel inadequate and doubt your self confidence. She will allow the flying monkeys to bully you while she watches and when you communicate your concerns about the bullying she will tell you "oh shes just picking " instead of enforcing the No work place bullying policy . And finally when you address the issues she will gaslight you into being "the problem" when you are only expressing your concerns . Emotional abuse Reactive Abuse and Narcissistic abuse in the work place is real. Hopefully this review will help the next person .

We stopped to get food at burger King and they didn't have anyone at this location when we arrived I got my 2 meals & my burgers had no lettuces fries were cold. My other family members ordered right after I did. As they went to sit down a family came in of 4 they ordered two men in line ordered they all got their food first before my family did. We went up to the counter to notify them that we ordered our meals first manager on duty came up to the counter acted very defensive, mad,rude blaming the poor girl at the counter for not putting in the order in but it was not the girl's fault at the counter because we all had our receipt with us so the girl taking our order did her job. Then by the time they did get their food we were ready to get back on the road asked for our food to go since they took 30 mins to get our order mind me that my family waited for me to eat my food while their order was supposed to come out. They manager did not let the young girl give us a bag to put all our order in because it was company policy, which I never heard of that ever in all burger kings!!! I would have not giving them no stars but the review would not give me a chance to not Choose zero stars.....plus the guy that was cooking was not even trying to work on our order fast.
