Interesting location with a short menu. I respect the effort in sourcing ingredients and understand some of that is reflected in the price. However, what you receive, although cooked to order, is rather bland especially if you forego sauces. Personally, I find that to be an affront to the price regardless of sourcing. It seems that the burger itself lacks seasoning. For a $16 price point a place such as Dog Haus or Red Robin on a good day, is far superior for taste. Bleu cheese for one of the burgers is just blue cheese dressing, completely overwhelming everything else including someone who likes bleu cheese. Chili cheese fries were solid, skimpy on chili and cheese but solid still.
Service was very courteous though when we had a need to leave it was a bit difficult to find our server and other servers seem to have blinders to tables that aren't their own so I walked to the counter to ask for service.
Overall the rundown is that the food quality is good while taste is sub-par and service is courteous though unreliable.
Recommendation would be Maverick Jack's if you really care about food sourcing, otherwise Five Guys on Primrose would be a much...

The burger was good (and I would recommend it and all of the food) although the lettuce was on the bottom which actually really bothered me. The whole purpose of the bottom of the burger bun is to soak up awesome burger juices! And lettuce under a hot burger patty loses its texture. I'm a big believer that a quality bun is a major contributor to a fabulous burger and it needs to be fairly robust without being too big and making the burger bready. The buns at Maverick Jack's were five stars and had the right burger to bun ratio, but never had an opportunity to shine because there was lettuce in the way.
EDIT: Woah. I just scrolled through the pictures on Google of the burgers and they all have the lettuce on the bottom! I clearly have a differing opinion about the right way to build a burger than the owner / chef / whoever is in charge. @owner - explain yourself ;) why lettuce on the bottom? Seriously, I'm genuinely curious.
If I were a "lettuce under the patty" kind of burger guy, I'd give this...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of hosting our baby's 1st birthday here and it couldn't have gone any smoother, with the help of Fabiana and our server Bella. Great communication with Fabiana all throughout the weeks leading up to our party to the day before. We were able to have our entire party seated in the covered patio right outside of the restaurant, which allowed our guests to freely roam around and chat with everyone. It was a little warm that day but they provided 2 fans to help cool off our guests. Our guests also were coming in and out and arriving at different times, but Bella was so patient in taking everyone's orders and making sure everything was accurate. They were so helpful with providing everything we needed, I couldn't ask for more! Aside from the amazing service, the food was also delicious. The Outlaw might be one of the juiciest and most flavorful burgers I've ever had, I will definitely be coming back even if not hosting a party. I couldn't recommend this...
