Yeah not my bag. So it's Thai food but it's a limited menu for Thai and really has like 3 to 5 times as many takeout patrons than eat in patrons. The eat in hours are wacky and the menu is simple. It's got a wacky interior and I'd lean more towards a 2 but their Pad Thai is a great to go item everyone seems to like. But it's not your traditional Thai restaurant and the menu isn't very flexible. Now I know people swear by this place but it's in Burnet Texas and I imagine most people that live out here haven't been to a strictly Thai restaurant like you find in major cities like Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio. And I'm a transplant so my first Thai experiences 20 years ago were in NYC. And even there you had 2 star Thai and 5 star Thai. But on the flip side it's got Thai take out in Burnet that tastes decent. It's hard when there's mostly TexMex and Barbecue and a small variety of places to get something different and this place fills that void. So if you're not in the mood for a burger at Storms or some fast food or Temex this fills that gap. It's conveniently located by a gas station, has quick take out, and they're very pleasant people. Lastly it has like a mini mart attached but that's kind of wacky too. Not a traditional Asian grocery, lord knows it's not an Hmart, but I imagine it has the staples most people need. Kind of ambivalent about this place. And a tad on the pricey side for what it is. There were 4 of us and we spent 90 bucks. I can't even tell...
Read moreHave been a regular getting lunch and dinner for a few years. The food has always been fantastic however their customer service has always been poor; part is due to the hard communication due to the bad english but the other part is due too them just abruptly hanging up before giving you a time estimate or price lol. That has been ignored due to how good their food is however I will not be going back again as my last experience was quite bad; I order a different noodle plate then i usually get and I have allergys so i always look over the ingredients really well. But they made me the wrong plate so this time it had my krypronite being peanuts and yea-that was bad. A shame because this was my favorite restaraunt in Burnet(ordering about 100$ worth of...
Read moreThis is our must stop restaurant when we drive from Austin to Burnet to camp or go antiquing. it is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Austin area (yes, including Austin :)). The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is always very kind. We usually get the Pad Khing with chicken and a noodle dish. The Thai Tea is some of the best Thai tea you will find in the area, it is very strong and has a great flavor. We also sometimes get the sticky rice which is a great end to the meal! We found the signs on the door confusing, it says ‘Take Out Only’ but you can eat inside, it is just the dishes are take out dishes (easier to pop a lid on...
