Fredi's Grille and Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Burton

This was my first time being here with my young daughter. I went on Sunday around a little past noon if I remember the time correctly. The parking lot was completely packed like inside outside and in cars, waiting . There was little to no room to do anything onside of this establishment for the amount of mass people going in and out of here there’s no area to wait so you either have to stand outside if it’s cold sit in your car, but I’m pretty sure they’re not gonna go outside the people at the restaurant to tell your your name was called or are you just standing in front of the restroom, which is highly annoying having to move out of the way every five seconds when somebody needs to use the restroom or get hit by the door by the seating I don’t think there’s much I can do about the space because this is just how big the restaurant is my first experience. The whole situation felt rushed. I felt stressed. The only thing I could say was that the waitresses and staff were extremely nice, especially under the stress they were under of running their a$$ off to extremely extremely rude customers. I heard a man next to me, tell the waitress to hurry up ! Then laugh condescendingly at her I was completely like what the f did he just say to her? Are you kidding me that was so rude for a customer to even say that knowing that they’re running their as$$$ off and the place was so busy you already knew you were going to be waiting, so what are you complaining about? If you’re so hungry you should’ve went to Burger King or something. The coffee was good. It was hot every time I got it. It did not taste old. The service was exceptional. Like I said the waiters were very kind and very attentive even if it wasn’t their table, they were always filling my coffee up I ordered my daughter chocolate chip pancakes, which was cute. It came out as a Mickey Mouse face. She only took Four bites out of it for whatever reason which I was completely shocked I had ordered a boss burger, medium, which it didn’t come out medium, but that’s fine and some french fries the french fries I thought we’re really good but the burger to me had no taste. It was extremely large. I had to cut it and still I had trouble fitting it in my mouth. I did not take any food home even though we had a lot left. The concept is nice. They do give you a lot of food. I just was not tasting any flavor. I’m not sure if I’m going to be back not because of the service because it was so nice but because the food did not Give off any flavor whatsoever to me and the fact that you just feel rushed in this restaurant, nobody is telling you to hurry up, but it’s just the environment of people standing at the door, staring at you eating waiting for you to get up and everybody running around and on top of the extremely rude customers Around you talking to the...

I cannot believe this place has been only a couple miles from my house for as long as it has and I haven't tried it yet. We were on our way to a graduation and happened to see and decided to stop in the parking lot was absolutely filled to the brim. There's plenty of parking but it was full and there was a wait out the door but everyone kept saying it was worth it and boy they weren't wrong. So many things were made from scratch including all of the desserts, the sauces, pan-fried walleye, fried veal with spaghetti with this delicious meat sauce, super garlicky and buttery garlic bread, I had some zip sauce pasta which is like a mushroom sauce with lemon and garlic which was absolutely delicious it has small tender pieces of tenderloin in it the salads were crispy and fresh, and we got the sampler with the wings, the cheese sticks, The Onion rings, and some other items and everything was just super fresh and good and it felt like you were eating in your own kitchen. There's not a lot of seating inside but there is an outdoor seating area also but it's worth the wait even if you have to wait but by the time we left around 7:00 it was starting to clear out. They have breakfast and lunch and dinner which you can have breakfast at dinner if you like. There's lots of items to choose from I was scoping out other tables and everything looked delicious including their bacon sandwiches which I plan to try for breakfast tomorrow. In fact I plan to go back within the next few days. The service was amazing our waitress was super fast everyone was working together as a team to keep the tables cleared there was rarely ever a dirty plate left on the table while we were eating and changing courses. There's a lit up menu board that highlights deals for the day, pictures of desserts etc. It's just a really good vibe and really good food and offer a great price. I am so disappointed in this place! And to think I originally gave this a 5 stars. Well this was done prematurely. Me and friends and family have in the past choose this place over any. Tonight . I had a date we went here and had to wait a bit no problem there. Then this group of 4 came in shortly after us. Meanwhile, we both parties had to wait, The owner came out and there was a table ready on the other side of the of the kitchen. He gave that table to them. then he looked at us and said the next one will be ready in a bit. He stated that he said that he was sanitizing it. When me and my friend looked they were cleaning off the table. So we left. He came out side it was raining mind you, and she the table is almost ready. Because it was raining, I call back and got this waitress who was Hella RUDE as every talking over me and told me what I Shoulda have done while I was there, next thing I know she put me on hold without letting me know RUDE! The owner gets on the phone then he talks over me stating that he told my friend that they were sanitizing the table. That was a bold faced lie. If he said it he must of mumbled it because it was not communicated to us that he was given the other party the bigger table. From our end both table looks the same. The were rude and we feel we were discriminated against. The proper thing to do was to look us straight in the face what you wanted to do and ASK us would that be okay.
