Sweet Lickz — Restaurant in Bushnell

Horrible, drive thru has no menu, ordered a chocolate malt and a hot fudge sundae. The employees said, I don't know what a chocolate malt is. Someone not see said, use that powder down there, in a chocolate milk shake. He must have forgotten the powder. The sundae must have been a problem, we were asked to pull around and told he would bring it out to us. 10 minutes wait and the same person comes out the door holding a large black bowl, he hands me the sundae not covered, had a spoon in the bowl that was extremely oversized in width yet was less than half an inch deep, no napkins and he turns and walks away. In the bowl was 2 blobs of melting ice cream placed on top of approximately a quarter cup of hot fudge. I set it on the drivers side floor of my car and drove off, telling my child in the back seat, I was going to pull across the street to get gas and then give her the sundae, to avoid a mess. The spoon of course had fallen into the bowl in the less than two minutes it took to pull across the street to the gas station. I luckily had a few napkins in the car, pulled the spoon out of the bowl, wiped it off and handed the spoon few napkins and the bowl to my child. As I pumped gas, she got out of the car and said it was terrible and dropped it in the trash can. I gave her my milk shake and she took a sip and said it was chocolate milk, back in the car, I tried it and it was like chocolate milk. I pulled out onto the road and went a few feet to McDonald's and got her a sundae, she said it was delicious. I try to spend my money at locally owned business, but never again will I go to...

This was one of my favorite stops over the last 3 yrs. Loved a banana split, shake, malt or sundae whenever I have had the chance. I just recently stopped back after intentionally avoiding the expense. However, over these past yrs. understanding the economy took a hit it is still ludicrous to pay $37 for 2 shakes & a malt. Add that banana split on for another $14.99. That's a sub total of $52 and I haven't even added the 2 sundaes yet...each sundae is an additional $9 to $10. Mind you we all shop and understand the increase to the cost of the product but unfortunately these over inflated prices made me do an about face and sadly walk out the door putting a permanent stop to us from patronizing this establishment. This place depends on what you are looking for. They have an okay selection of Hershey's ice cream in the tubs. The toppings are along the back wall so you have to look at the board to see what they have. They have a sign that says "We now have vanilla custard". When I was there in June, they were "out" and they girl didn't know the status. I like soft ice cream. They have it here, but it's the grainy type, more like frozen yogurt, not the creamy type. If you want real soft ice cream, go elsewhere. There is no inside seating in AC. There is limited outside seating and parking.
