I don’t know why everybody in the Weirton area is so fascinated with this place. Their food is horrible everything is out of the can, I ordered chicken Parmesan and got a frozen chicken patty. How hard is it to buy real chicken and pound it out, bread it and then serve it. Your charge enough money you should be doing it that way. Pass on this restaurant have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you would probably be more satisfied. ~ This is an add on to the note that the owner or manager wrote me after reading this review. I did ask to speak to the manager and the owner of the place Gio himself came out and sat down at my table. His remedy to rectify the situation was how much do you wanna pay for the dinner. I was sort of in disbelief and said to him it’s not a matter of the money it’s why do you not use real chicken. His response was well if you’re not satisfied how much do you think you should pay for the meal. It was almost a stalemate, I think the mail was 1799 on the menu. I should’ve told him I’d pay nothing because I wasn’t getting what I Thought that I was getting. I was getting fake processed chicken out an Italian restaurant. Other than that, if you’re still making the fake processed chicken Parmesan, I think people should be told that it is processed chicken before they order it. That’s all… Other than that I’m fine...
Read moreNot impressed. Not at all. Been going here for a very long time, took my fiance for his birthday tonight. We were deff disappointed. We wanted to grab a cpl steaks and after we ordered we were informed they did not have any. And this would have been fine. But, I told the girls at the desk that for future refrence it might be a good ideal to put a flyer in the menu or have the server tell people they are out of steaks. Instead the menu says 6 8 or 10 once steaks ask server for details. Well with my experience that would mean how the steak was cooked. But anyhow they were completely out. Seriosly, this was a Friday night. And when I made a suggestion to the hostesses about maybe letting people know in advance; all I got was an additude. And a very bad one. She was very rude. And the beer was very warm. As it has been most every time we are there. I would have not even given this site a single star but I couldn't have given a review at the same time. Never going back. And even if I wanted to order and asked about steak I couldn't have anyhow. As for my server was very short with me. I came to undo's instead. Which panned out to be amazing. So thanks for your bad experience. It gave me a much better night colder beer and much better service.... Very...

Unless you were blessed to be Italian or married one, the closest thing you’ll get is Giovanni‘s. Stop in for lunch, get an order of Bruschetta and homemade wedding soup. The sauce? You can drink. The lasagna has never been a disappointment. My personal favorite is the Chicken parmigiana and béchamel sauce.
If you’re lucky enough, you could hear one of stories from Gio himself. Though, he’s stepped down to the “living the dream” retirement, nonetheless his son makes sure to keep the place in good hands!
I just miss the Pizza Shop years...
