Java Junction — Restaurant in Butte

Java Junction has been a daily stop for me in the past year - specifically for a lotus and occasional bagel or cake pop. Every time I pull up to the window I’m met with smiling faces and outstanding service. They manage to brighten my worst days with their kindness and conversations. By my third or fourth visit, they already knew my name/order and had great personalized suggestions of drinks to try. The employees dedication to customer relations is some of the best I have seen in Butte! Plus, the owner has supported a non-profit I’m part of in way of donation, which I truly appreciate. What a terrible experience. Ordered a 12 oz latte...first off it only comes with one shot. Extra shot for 50 cents. Which isn't terrible...but they charged an extra 30 cents for flavoring. Who the heck does that!? And I requested no lid due to the single use plastic epidemic, but the lady still filled the cup to the brim, and I ended up spilling nice sticky latte all over my hand and car as she handed it to me. Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather go to a Starbucks, and I despise big coffee chain Starbucks. Luckily we found City Brew not far away. If I could rate lower I would. I hardly ever come in because I only really drink water and have never found a hot chocolate that was good and not watered down. I’ve lived all over the USA and I’ve tried many hot chocolates, but none are as good as Java junctions.
