One of the worst experiences that I had at a Mexican restuarant. My family and I was there for Mother's day... (at their Byron location). Oregon's location was much different. I was surprised because of all the great reviews here and after sharing my story with a friend, she said that her family also had a bad experience as well. When we got there, there was a lady that greeted us and we got sat down right away. This was the best thing about the whole experience. We got the chips, but they tasted store bought and were not fresh. The salsa was really mild and the food really needed some flavor. My Mom ordered guacamole and It was watery and did not taste good. My girlfriend had to wipe her hands off with an alternate towel, because the female restroom did not carry any. This restuarant was not busy on this day. There were maybe 3 parties that were there. I followed up with an email before leaving this review, but no one has gotten back with me yet. Looking at the lack of feedback on this GMB page I can see why I have not been given a response. I would not recommend giving this restuarant a shot and encourage you to...
Read moreThere was plenty of parking and entry was somewhat handicap accessible. The restaurant inside and out looked clean and well kept. The restroom was very clean and handicap accessible. I wouldn't say the service was great, it was ok nothing good or bad stands out no was overly friendly or that efficient. The food was ok some of our plates were very hot while one wasn't even warm. The flavor of the rice was very good and we all enjoyed it. The chips were unique and tasty. The salsa was very good both the mild and the house made hot was outstanding. The chimichanga was good but nothing different than most chimi's. The cheese quesadilla was flat, dried out and flavorless. The cobo plate was ok, the taco consisted of shell, ground beef and lettuce. The burrito was ground beef wrapped in a flour shell with a little tiny bit of cheese on top. The enchilada was ground beef wrapped in a shell with a little red sauce on it. The meat was the same in all of them and it was very light on flavor. The prices were consistent with most Mexican restaurants...
Read moreThe food was just ok. The service was excellent and I appreciated the fact the server made a few recommendations given it was a first time visit. The lighting in the ladies room was very dim. The salt shakers were grimy and dirty, the menus needed sanitizing but had nice design. I Loved the decor and tables that were very spacious and colorful. The house salsa needed seasoning/ bland and the hot salsa was perfect. Prices were fair. The cheese dip was too thin but had good flavor. The Guacamole was bland and not authentic at all. My food “Paella”was delicious and a generous portion & definitely not enough tortillas were given with my entree. I escorted a disabled patron to the restaurant and tried to park in handicap with a placard but… The parking for the handicapped is way to close to the front door on the passenger side, so we had to park on the side of the building. One Star for Decent Prices and Two Stars for Service...
