Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Byron

Every single time we pass through this town on our way to my husband's hometown Macon or returning back home, we always stop here. We have always had great food and excellent customer service, and that is very important. We love this Dairy Queen so much that we bypass any other restaurants to eat here going and coming. Thanks for always giving us a great experience each time.

Edit...undoubtedly, it's under new management, and so is the food. Oh, the staff has changed, and we felt awkward from their attitudes. We decided not to dine in. We ate in the car instead. We didn't get a friendly greeting, and when I said hello, she responded with how can I help you!!! I ordered the fish sandwich, which I usually get, and this time it was horrible! 1st off the bun had the texture of being warmed in the microwave, moist and rubbery and chewy. Secondly, there was a ridiculous amount of tartar sauce on there that my hands became an entire mess from the 1st bite😩. Last but not least the fish was undercooked. It wasn't crunchy and not hot. I don't understand why not when we waited for at least 8 minutes for our food....

I dont understand how you can order the same thing on two separate occasions and get two different things. I ordered two kids meals I did not get the offer for a sundae like its supposed to have and didnt even recieve a coupon to redeem. Also do kids meal not come with any type of toy. My children literally got a brown paper bag and a tray of fries and 2 chicken tenders. I could of just order 2 chicken tenders! Alos the bottled waters were warm so i know that they are not even in a cooler. IThis place just seems to dk what they want on the days that they want and the man got my order wrong and when I pulled up to the window he was texting on his phone. I just think more consistent behavior and menu would be great. If you eat here just check your bag and dont be surprised if they do everything differently than most other DQs. I will not be coming back to this one...

My family went and ate here a few days ago, and got some cheddar bites and ice creams. This place has really lost touch with its customer base. No one acts like they are happy to work there and the food shows it. I'm still not to thrilled with this place because one time a few years ago, I had $75 worth of charges hit my card out of the blue which I was at the end of my work week and had a check coming Friday, the $75 charge cause me to bounce. Each charge cost me $25 bucks a pop. I called them to find out what happened and they told me that "They reserve the right to charge me whenever" yet there are zero signs posted alerting customers to this or anything. Needless to say, they did nothing to remedy that. It's REALLY bad business. They charged me from four months previous all at once.
